This Saturday we wanted to try something new. Emma and Rose worked together to create this video. I love the energy they shared on camera and it was fun to shoot. If you have time, please share some encouraging words for them, as they showed interest in doing more. The Double Dutch Pigtails are fairly simple and will work with Rose's shorter hair.
You'll need: Your favorite brush, a styling comb, detangler spray and two elastics
Begin by parting the hair and brushing it out. Grab a small section from one side near the top of the part and divide it into 3 sections. Pass the left under the middle, which will now become the new middle. Then pass the right under the middle which will now become the new middle. Now pass the left under the middle and simultaneously grab some hair to include with it. Then repeat with the right side under and grabbing hair to go with it. You'll repeat these steps till you get behind the ear, then add the remaining hair, comb it out and install the elastic. Repeat on the other side.
This should take you about 5 minutes to complete after you have had practice. Don't worry if the hairstyle doesn't turn out that great, the important thing is that you try and spend time with your children.
We use So Cozy products in our tutorials. They can be purchase in Target, Walgreens and CVS, but you'll find the best prices on Amazon.
Thanks for watching!
