I Love that knot, very useful, even for joining to ropes. I liked your midline clove hitch. I'm not crazy about boline, If I use I would finish Yosemite twist, what loop you use

would this be a better knot than a scaffold to replace your bridge rope on your saddle?

I watched you tie this loop, any need for a figure 8 stopper to finish it. Interesting viewing your channel.

Would you be willing to give your opinion on the pros and cons of this vs anchor hitch? I know anchor hitch uses less line, I assume it's more difficult to release after being loaded?

I was wondering the same thing. I use the Anchor hitch myself with no issues.

Wrong name. A double fisherman’s is a bend used to tie two different sizes of rope together. This is called a poachers knot, scaffold knot, double overhand noose or strangle knot.

I think shown is a poachers knot. A scaffold knot gets another wrap and so they are different.

There's the scaffold knit and there's the double over hand with the tail through the middle this isn't a knot check your knots

Why not a double figure eight like in the climbing world?
@TreeMuggs_PatrickM

Because this one cinches down tight on a biner, so not flopping around, but also super easy to untie when you're done ✌️. - Patrick

@@TreeMuggs_PatrickM I've got my harness on right now I've been practicing the knot I can see the utility of it (it's hard to unlearn tying into a double figure eight) and trusting that this knot is more than sufficient to get the job done. I can see since this is a slipknot, that it is self tightening on the biner and upon itself, so I am going to incorporate it into my list of essential knots that I am still learning . Thank you for demonstrating I put the video on .25 speed and have watched several times while tying the knot thank you again.
