The British (Victorians) built the railways in India - the Indians modernised them! We don't have any double-stack freight railways in UK, and only a little electric freight. When you've finished modernising your railways, will you come here and modernise ours, please? 😀

Fun Fact😆. Yes British built some railway routes. But not for Indians only for transferring there gun, there own people and for transferring there looted gold and other things to the port and also some raw material that they buy in cheap prices forcefully and process in there country to generate more employment and then sell them in indian market in double price like silk, cotton and salt. By the way British was built the railway routes in India by Indians money and also in there own country.

@@Hindishortcutmovies I'm no fan of the British era of India but at the same, I give the credit where it's due. British didn't build "some" but 54000 km(at the time of transfer of power in India) and 65000km(undivided India) at the rate of more than 600km per year in India. After 1947 the pace of the work on the Indian railway slowed down considerably. In the last few years, the government realized that and then went on a spending spree to modernize it.
