Love that you're back with content. Even without the confessionals here, these matches are well worth it, and I love that you're mic'ed up and we get access to the dialogue in-play and between points. Thank you for making this!

Scott is such a dog, especially on the doubles court. Compact, quick, flat shots, and soft hand. Dude would be a nightmare to play against.

Well done, again Scott & Ian are incredible at the net. Happy to see that Ian slowed down his returns even if the others did make lots of winning volley overall it was better for Ian/Scott. Breaking his racket totally messed up Chris, he made so many unforced errors after that smash.

Wow, that lefty spin must be tough to deal with. Also loved the running Scott forehand volley behind him as he was running in the opposite direction. Good change up format wise, but hoping to get back to that confessional/commentator cut stuff in the future!

It's experience not instinct. Keep moving dynamically in relation to the ball. Jam opponents and pounce on it at net. Whoever is closest to the net should go for it.

Love the new format and kudos on finding creative ways to keep going with this content. Maybe do brief introduction for new players even in this match style just so we can empathize a little more with them given we never met them. Some sort of hybrid between the all out production the other ways was and this. Either way, keep it up and thank you.

At 1:50 you hit a great winner. Were you too close to the net or did you play it right? I tend to back up closer to the service line. Any input? Not saying you had time to back up but what is ideal position?
@REALTENNIS
Жыл бұрын
With Scott all the way back at the baseline I have zero worries about getting lobbed....so I'm maximizing my offensive ability by getting super close. If Scott was also up close to the net I wouldn't have had the luxury of taking that risk openly. There is no "best spot" that always works all the time, the "best" position is completely situational.

Amazing how ian's serve was the slowest one, but they win those games easier. Kudos. Also, feel bad for the opponents couple. Did the red shirt guy change his racket at 4-4? It looks like he never quite find the sweet spot after the drop. Nice match. I'm eager to see more of this 😊
