Mr. KoO, Those old Fords & Ferguson carbs were ultra simple a child could tune them. They had 2 needle valves, 1 for idle & 1 for power. The power valve had a huge knurled thumb nut on it and it stuck right out of the top of the carb in plain sight. I used to adjust mine based on how crappy the gas was. No big deal getting the engine to run perfectly. Xena, I always heard Blueberries that tiny and wild are called Huckle Berries. They are tiny but very strong flavour. ben/ michigan

Hi Joey, Another enjoyable and educational video - Thanks. I was wondering, if the V8 ran better after a PCV valve was (re)fitted, does that mean the carb was jetted and setup for a PCV valve originally? And if you add a PCV valve to the 216 that didn’t originally have one and block off the draft tube, will you have to play with the Carby to get it to run smoothly? Hi Xena, that sure looks like a lotta blueberries. Enjoy. Some people say if something didn’t cost you much, then its not worth much but for some reason I feel that things that are ‘free’ feel like they’re worth more, to me. Take Care and Have Fun!
@kingofobsolete4789
23 күн бұрын
the v8 all came with the PCV valves so easy to figure out. the 38 GMC had a 1957 261 truck motor installed in 1977, then they ran hoses and tubes everywhere to try and make it idle better. then we put on the PCV valve and blocked off everything and it idles and runs and we are having fun around the yard. it is all part of learning and figuring out what people did back 50 years ago. thansk
