As you can see the tree was located between 2 garages and with a far drop zone. I pruned each branch into 2-3 pieces in order to make them lighter. Branches were left on the garage roofs, without damaging the roofs, in order to absorb the impact of the tree trunk pieces.
Once I couldn't throw the tree trunks to the desired drop zone, I started to rig them down. When I reached the point when the tree trunk would hit the garage roof with the rigging, I began to remove smaller tree sections and dropped them on the branches that I had left on the roof - to absorb the shock.
At the end, all of the tree trunks pieces and branches were removed from the roof, down to the very tight place in between the two garages, which was full of branches place there to protect the walls.
You can learn a lot from this video and see how to operate tough trees.
I used stihl ms193t, ms261c-m and ms441c-m.
