Hi James B. As I mentioned to Dave, below, this was (for me) one of those memorable 'must see' places. The Mojave Sub for a few miles above and below the loop has fantastic scenery. I wish you a great weekend. Stay safe. James.

Hi Nik. Yes - could not agree with you more than that. It was a high point in railroad filming for my son and I to see that. Thank you for the most kind comment, my friend. Stay safe. Avoid to tornados supposely in the area today. James.

Holy moly. I think that I know that place ; it is on the lead going north from the main for a few hundred yards and is across the road from where I used to get my quad serviced. Have I got it right ? Thanks for the news Nik. James.

Very good video, James! Is it a long way from this location to the exit of the tunnel? - Have a good weekend. Dirk

Greetings Dirk. Thank you my friend. The tunnel is a relatively short one at around 130 metres in length. For a neat overhead view of it try using Google Earth Pro and search for Tehachipi Loop. Thank you for visiting, and for commenting. Stay Safe. James.
