I just watched the movie on Netflix yesterday. It had been in my queue for a while and I thought I'd give it a go. Having lived in NC for most of my life (though originally from NY), I could tell that most of the people that were "interviewed" in the movie were legit people from the south. From the way they acted, talked, and even looked. The wikipedia page says some were actors while others read the script but just acted like themselves. (ps...the camera moves way to much in this interview. It really doesn't even need to move at all. In any interview I've seen with two people, the camera just stays put and shows both people the whole time.)

+Georgemmac are you stoned? Or can you just not spell at all...I'm not sure how commenting on someone's state of mind in a public forum can be constituted as immature, so I think it's best if you and I start a lengthy back-and-forth wherein you can get some of your rage out and I can have some fun. Your turn. Go.

What Mr. Black seems to not understand is that it's tougher for women to make it in show business (or just about anywhere) than it is for women. In western society a male can be a fat unshaven mess and still be called a 'star'. (Obviously a subjective term). Not so much a woman. I'd love to hear more of his deep thoughts. His lucky wife.

"The Oral History Of Hollywood" yeah... I bet Hollywood has a bunch of oral histories to tell.... Another thing: It's so weird to see someone that can be so funny in the movies but in a real coversation you can tell he is kinda boring and really sober.
