For anyone considering trying matcha, please make sure it is not sourced from China. Sourced from Japan is your best bet as they take more care in the production and you are not likely to find heavy metals, pesticides, fillers, etc. South Korean matcha may be decent, but I personally have not had any. But honestly, please be careful with matcha sourced from China. Best of luck to you all on your tea endeavors!

I used to work at a boba shop/cafe in korea, and we got our matcha from Japan strictly, the owners and customers would know the difference and could spot the cheap or low quality matcha. We prepared it using the bamboo wisk as well. We made sure we used the EXACT measurement when using matcha as its expensive (according to the owners). I will say, if there was any left over we were encouraged to just use the rest to make personal drinks and save them for our breaks. Best thing ever!

Match is concentrated ground tea which you drink in its entirety.. It is not LESS caffeine.. Just better than coffee.. Matcha holds all the herbal benefits that tea has to offer.. And it doesn't cause the jitters that coffee does. But Match is very high in caffeine.. Not low Standard tea actually has more caffeine than coffee to weight... But because of the way we brew tea most of the caffeine gets left behind in the tea bag.. If you ate the tea grounds you'd be bouncing off the walls.. With matcha... You drink all of the tea.. Nothing is left behind

I am doing intermittent fasting. Every morning I skip breakfast. As soon as get up I drink a 16 oz glass of water with 30ml of apple cider vinegar. 30 minutes later I drink a 16 oz glasses of water with the juice of 2 lemons. 30 minutes later I drink some Matcha green tea followed by 30 mins of exercise bike . This makes me full until midday then I have a window of 12-8 where I eat 2x meals of healthy carbs, healthy fats, high protein and high fibre. I then drink another glass of apple cider vinegar and lemon water in the evening followed by another 30 mins of exercise bike. Been doing this for 6 months, lost 30 pounds. My doctor is shocked at my health. My blood pressure and insulin levels have plummeted. This is the best "diet" on Earth. It isn't even a diet it is a complete lifestyle change.

I drink a cup of matcha every day. I used to drink several cups of coffee but replaced all but one with that single cup of matcha. Experimenting with it, I have also found you can bring out different flavors at different temperatures. The same goes for the levels of caffeine. As a general rule, using hotter water will produce higher caffeine levels and increase the bitterness of the tea.

Keep it in the freezer? It seems to be just fine if you keep it anywhere out of the sun pretty much. I have it once every 4 days or something so my body dosen't develop any significant dependence on the caffeine and yeah the best way to describe it is that yeah firstly it's not as powerfull as caffeine alone because of the relaxing effects of l-theanine but in a way it just smooths your thoughts a little bit it's like more precise and connected thoughts come up and i really like that because cofee is just pure energy where it seems like you think faster but without that nice precision.

I currently drink a coffee called “Death Wish Coffee”. It has extremely high caffeine content. I drink it black every morning. I’d like to find a highly caffeinated tea with a lot of health benefits. Any suggestions?

I think yerba mate is worth a try . However I feel like it’s mostly physically stimulating , whereas green tea feels more cerebral . Green tea has also been the best for Brain fog.

Try this website: www.piquetea.com/collections/all It has a variety of teas, each possessing unique health properties. However, if energy is what your looking for, then you'll be better off with matcha or black tea. Black tea has more caffeine than matcha, but I like matcha better. But black tea majors significantly in gut health.

I put a tea spoon of this stuff in a cup. Hot. Water. Quick stir with a fork and hey presto I grew a samouraï beard. !!!! Now have the bamboo stick spoon and whisk . First attempt was like drinking a swamp. .

I tried a few different green teas in my advent calendar. No matcha, but I did have about 5 different green teas. It's not my favourite but it's ok so I drink it for the health benefits.

Look up green tea effect on vata dosha. It increases vata, which is mental energy, which can make you feel ungrounded. If you have green tea with a healthy fat (milk, coconut milk etc), and/or warming spices, it will balance the ethereal aspects of green tea.
