And by your comment a lot of sane people can see perfectly why you didn't , you didn't say that you had a husband or a boyfriend you said you were trying to do it on your own but you stated that two men and two women wouldn't have a problem because at the end of the day that's a two parent household not one person trying to adopt a child stop trying to use the LGBT community whenever something doesn't go right for you apparently you're not a fit parent if it didn't go right for you

@ Dewain John single ppl might b a better situation than what u just outlined. There is a push today for "non traditional" families it's undeniable. As a black man who was in foster care I spent most of my childhood feeling like nothing more than a check to the black family that adopted me, But when I was homeless and a white family took me and helped me get a license a car food and family love that I never knew, a child just needs a family that loves them unconditionally the race don't matter. A unfit parent is a unfit parent no matter what they look like.

I work with Developmentally Disabled and u'd b surprised the manner in which some of their own families exploit them solely for dough. It's disgusting. Some people just wanna turn everything into racism, when in reality, most of us don't adopt or have any desire to adopt or take in kids that aren't ours,, NOT EVEN BIACK KIDS.. So no one should get mad at white folks just bcuz they step up and adopt our kids when we barely do it, it's also completely delusional to ignore AALLLL the successful adoptions of black kids from white parents and strictly focus on the few bad ones.. IF WE WANT MORE BLACK ORPHANS/FOSTER KIDS TO BE WITH BLACK PARENTS, WE NEED TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY AND ADOPT MORE,, not demonize the ones who do step up. Sometimes my people make me mad. Rest in peace Pimp C, love her authenticity. The system needs to make it easier for parents to get their kids back. I'm in a Social Services industry and outside of abuse I think the threshold is low to snatch kids away personally. They don't really give the option to responsible family members to take over. Once the law gets the kids it's foster care where the abuse is often worse than anything parental.

it saddens me. in our culture here in Africa we never have orphans unless the parents are unknown - children are taken care of in extended families. the way we grew up it was rare to be only the immediate family it's very common in any family for a blend of kids who are cousins and all that but everyone gets same treatment and same love I see a lot of other African cultures throwing away this culture...?

The laws in the U.S. are different. Culture definitely too but the laws don't allow for family to just assume responsibility. I know, I'm Nigerian American(born in U.S.) but lived in Nigeria bout a decade. What u say is true and ideally how things should go but here ppl can lose their kids somewhat easily(by design) and by default their wards of the state then. Here’s the issue with adoption period. Apparently if you’re planning on adopting a child, they want you to have a significant other to begin with if you want to officially adopt any children. And with the black couple dynamic has been ruined because of the constant bickering between BW and BM. Which makes it even harder for black people can officially adopt.

Back in the day if a black mother couldn't take care of her child she gave that child to someone else who could. They got the necessary supporting documentation and it was done. Now we're wrapped up in their system and they take our children and give them to who they want. My son isn't mine biologically. And I'm thankful that the woman who gave birth to him got enough of me to bless me with him! The day he was born was so surreal! I got to stand there and watch it all happen and then they cleaned him up and put him in in my shirt so that we could start our skin-to-skin time. Amazing! Sometimes when I'm out I see these little black kids who have been taken by "the others" and they just stare at me and my baby. They're very small but they know something isn't right! Sometimes they look like little hostages! Everything in me wants to rescue them but then I'll go to jail and they'll send my son to live with "the others". When I take my son to the zoo the signs explain why orphaned animals must be raised by animals that are exactly the same breed. So why don't we understand this when it comes to people!?

Perhaps that's an appropriate response, i don't know. What i do know is that i live in Columbus, Ohio, where 'crack' cocaine maintains a strong-hold. Many of the older folk herein surrendered their children to the state; who in turn surrendered their ward's to predominantly 'white' households ( of the non- affluent sort ). I've been to 26 states, and 5 countries; outside prison, Cbus by far contains the most heartfelt racist I've yet to encounter. I say the above to lay support for my contention that black children belong in the care of loving/caring ( not lookin' for a monthly check), well adjusted adults, no matter how their services be inducted. Columbus, Ohio is a horrible place to live for all the 'black' people here. The one's who have money/material, are just as ignorant as the poorest of dope fiends. They all think like slaves. My viewpoint is well thought out, and my experience in this city supports the statement i'm about to make: racist/ignorant 'whites', 'blacks' and all the rest of our so called collective/race/species, cannot but impart their disease to these children whom they see mostly, as an extra government check. I'm old and weary of the psychological games we all play: humans are at least 50+% shitty. Yes, i have seen good results come out of foster care; but that's like making it in sports and entertainment. The young people in this city are by and large contemptuous, despicable, murderous miscegenation's whom no-one intended to create, add to that, that no-one has truly Ioved. I could go on till next week. I just thought it would be responsible of me to remind you (the commentator), that wisdom takes all angles under consideration before rendering a decision. How would it sound to you if i posted a thank you to ' white ' America for the enslavement of Africa: because without 'slavery' there'd be no global system/wealth and i might be living on the Serengeti (as if that would be so bad; all things considered) For the most part, the Becky's and the Bills have been programmed to undermine the competition, and our children are the competition.

I remember a horrific story (search it on KZitem) where two American gay men (a couple) adopted a baby out of Russia and as soon as they got the baby into their home they rxped the baby over a number of years and filmed him and spread videos all over the dark web for profit.. They even traveled all over and allowed other men to rxpe the boy. All this boy knew was that life. Well finally the couple was caught and the authorities who had to review the videos of this boy said the boy was so used to it (oral) that he did it like a pro. Disgusting!!!😡 After that Putin created a law in Russia that gay men especially from America are banned from adopting children from Russia. Im sorry that this story wasn't about black children but I only mention it because adopting ANY child especially black children is a very VERY risky thing. I'm very afraid for these kids.

Oh, that's horrible. I think one of the Asian countries hit pause on their adoptions as well. Too many deviants in this world.
