The popular Dr Chris Brown has redeemed himself after finally completing the 14km marathon today.
Chris collapsed around 2km out from the finish line on Sunday suffering serious respiratory problems.
He was treated by Paramedics and rushed to hospital, but was given the all clear shortly after.
He has gained a reputation for finishing what he starts, and today at 9.30am, he recommenced the race 2km out from the finish line, just a little further away from where he collapsed. This time he had a support crew in tow, with Wippa from Nova 96.9 FM live broadcasting and following every step of the way.
Deano from the Bondi Lifeguards joined in and was on hand "just in case". Still feeling the slight effects from being ill on Sunday, Chris was able to finally finish the race in a record breaking 4 days, 2hrs and 1min.
Chris says it's all for a great cause, which is to support the work of the Westpac Lifesaver Helicopter.
He was cheered on and presented with a medal and 1st place honours for "dedication".
