You just inspired me to write another song We need more historians like you fighting for the truth and for our heritage. They might listen more if you talk to them in Spanish.

Nothing but more trendy, woke, revisionist history.

The history we all were taught in grade school was revisionist. Fable history to teach us patriotism , but we could learn that by giving us the truths , facts . We were lied in school about the sinking of the Maine, war with the indians , with Mexico and now wars after WW2.

Can you tell me what’s woke about this? What’s revisionist? This is just straightforward history based on extant documentation.

@@Mark-vm7sc I love the explanation of how the area grew; I always wonder what part of this history people don't accept or understand? The mission was built the same as most on the frontier- missions were built because occupation of land so it can be claimed by whomever happens to exist on it. This is the way every nation every where in the world builds when going into new territory. Missions and schools were built to assimilate natives into the new culture.
