what a delightful interview...Monica's joy is palpable. I had a rough childhood and I always went to the trees for comfort. Now science is explaining why I got such comfort from the trees. Great questions Dr. Gundry.

Thank you Dr. Gundry for having the open mind to provide this type of content despite and regardless of the reaction it may elicit. As time goes on I am learning, thanks to people like you, that we need to revisit our "truths" and as you often tell us RE SEARCH or revisit so many areas of our lives. QUESTION EVERYTHING. Our health (and that of our planet), happiness and general well being depend on it.

Good discussion, appreciate the intro to the book. I have read that trees can sense danger. For example trees were measured and found to shake slightly when someone approached with a axe or saw. Even a single cell organism has built in intelligence sufficient to thrive and reproduce.

Very enjoyable, but now I have vegan plant guilt. Oh well, at least I know what my next audiobook will be. Oh, btw, Califia makes an unsweetened vanilla almond milk. But as with it's Barista Blend, it has sunflower lecithin in it, so pick your poison. I'm using it until I find a better one.

I haven't tried it or anything, but what about putting a little vanilla extract into plain almond milk? That way you have total control over what's in it and how vanilla it is.

Every and each case is different, everyone's genetics different. I would say *with lectin free diet also look for oxalate free diet* I know it almost looks there is nothing left to eat. But don't give up, keep research and be test lab to yourself. If you feel somehow bad after certain in few days -- take it off from your diet -This doc recommends some fruits and vegies which I would never eat, because from bad experience on myself- Example many docs would recommend blueberries (nope, not for me), this doc recommend sweet potato (naah, not my thing) However I only share my opinion, you follow yours (I wouldnt eat steak, no red meat and certainly no cow meat) Speaking about psychology thing: if you kill one animal or dozen of plants it doesn't matter in both cases it's killing living beings, so you are no saint if eat bull (how one is more supreme from other?) But you are made that way that you have to eat: only ethical way is to eat less, but not that you kill yourself from hunger
