Hyde was supposed to be shorter and smaller than Jekyll. In the book Hyde is described as a very short man with slightly-deformed features, and when he transformed, Jekyll's clothes looked big on him. In this scene, Hyde seems to be a huge monster.
@IWasaTeenageTeenWolf
10 жыл бұрын
It probably follows more The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen rather than he Robert Louis Stevenson version. In the Alan Moore graphic novel, Hyde explains hat he was once very small, but he grew stronger as Jekyll grew weaker, accumulating into a massive hulking beast. Even in the Stevenson book it hints at such a thing, as Jekyll becomes at the mercy of Hyde.
@hildcit
10 жыл бұрын
Well, I think he looks smaler... (Maybe because I've searched for pictures first like "Jekyll and hyde Pagemaster" on google and found all the pictures showing him smaler), so yeah :P
@nagglebenji2167
10 жыл бұрын
Most media depictions of Mr. Hyde seem to deviate strongly from the book. It's a real shame because you lose the original message that Stevenson was trying to convey to the reader and just becomes an "Oh, look, he's evil now because he drank the potion" effect.
