My designs for the two take from both the book and the musical. They both have the same hair color and texture, but Jekyll normally keeps it pulled back in a ponytail because of not only the time period (they didn’t have very good hair care stuff back then) but also ✨lab safety✨, and his hair is near-shoulder length; meanwhile Hyde’s hair is longer, down, more unruly, and his bangs are longer. Jekyll is taller, and his back is straight; Hyde is shorter, and has a hunched physicality (much like in the book), also Hyde is a little bit bulkier. In the transformation, his (preferably Jekyll) eye color changes. Jekyll’s eyes are teal, while Hyde’s eyes are dark blue, but if he (Hyde)’s in a specific mood, there will be a hint of red in his eyes (that detail I added myself to add intrigue to the character(s)). Edit: Dang it. I forgot to tell you the hair color and texture. He/they is/are brunette(s), and (since curly hair was common in that time period and I currently can’t draw curls) they have wavy hair.
