Reminds me of a saying from the aviation days: You can only make a plane so safe before it becomes a penguin

Thats actually kinda heavy for a 17" hull, but it's a hydro, so very little hydrodynamic drag so I think the weight may be on par with the power your running? I'm shooting for 3 ½ lbs on my twin motor hydroplane loaded out. My 17" Miss Geico cat weights 1lb 14oz. W/ 3s battery

Dr Jet I've built a 1/16 scale atlas that I will modify the look of but is it required to offset the drive line or can I just center it? Thank you love the channel!

If it's one of the Gerry Finlay derivatives, it runs better with an offset, but you can do it either way.

Oh great now your singing to us 😣 I like the guide you said for airplanes but it's hard to say it's accurate for boats but I do think it's in the ballpark. That's one to think on.
