This is embarrassing because John cant sing, the only thing its got going for it is the novelty factor and John's witty conversation between tracks.

I agree, his voice isn't the best here but if you listen to their version of McArthur Park and Johnny Remember Me, he's got a great voice. In fact the whole of their album "This time it's personal" is very,very good.
