I am here to reveal more and more of my divinity every day. I am here to contribute to humanity, to put my shoulder to the wheel and make the world a better place to live in. I am here to express all the qualities, attributes and potencies of God. I am here to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. I am here to serve and give of my talents and abilities to the world. I serve others nobly, generously, and lovingly. Gods wealth (spiritual, mental, material, and financial) is always circulating in my life. There is always a divine surplus.

You do serve the world where there is a vacuum. Thank you. I love the music. Referencing the subject of watching movies or videos that are horror, murder mysteries, etc, I believe those in moderation is harmless. I like espionage movies as well as any movie that I can solve. I can tell when I have watched too many of the same subject and will take a recess. Balance.

Thanks Brian 😊 🙏 I have loved horror films, thrillers, mysteries, and supernatural themes since I can remember. Yes, I have had terrible nightmares from them, too. I don't believe though that by watching them or reading a book based on the above themes, that l will attract that particular thing into my existence. It's just an interest and entertaining for me. Compared to when I was younger, I will stay away now from certain themes at times if I think it's going to affect my mind and especially my sleep at night!! Like demons and devil themes, they can really scare me as I believe that this kind of energy exists. However, I don't believe I will attract certain experiences to myself just because I am watching or reading about it. I disassociate and detach myself from them, knowing it is not real (fiction themes). Or in cases of true events, it expands my knowledge knowing the contrast that exists in the universe, i.e. light and darkness, good and evil, and I give continued thanks for mine and my loved ones' eternal safety and protection. I believe it all comes down to what we each choose to "believe" about it all ✨️ 💯

Thank you for this. I think the question about what we should watch, read, etc, comes down to one question: how does it make you feel? It it inspires or uplifts you, it's a good thing for you at that time. It might not always make you feel that way, and if you feel any negative emotions then it would be a good idea to leave it alone. When you feel good, it doesn't matter what's inspired that good feeling, but it puts you in a position to attract more good into your life. Follow your bliss and you can't go wrong. 😊❤

Thank you for another enlightening video Brian, they are always fascinating and uplifting, it is what this world needs. You asked for our thoughts….I stopped watching nasty movies a long time ago, it is programming. My husband still watches them and when I walk past the TV I am shocked by the horribleness of it all. I was however, persuaded to watch the Hunger Games and I think it speaks volumes, it left the same feeling in me that watching and reading 1984 did when I was a student. I don’t think everyone is susceptible, but I think it can dull some people’s perception as to what is acceptable human behaviour, weakening their empathy and compassion for others. Much love to you Brian and thank you again x

I think people like you Brian, people like ‘us’ who come to the Reality Revolution have awareness acute enough to be able to watch horror films, crime shows etc, without creating a reality out of it or having it affecting us so much. We can see within and beyond, aiming through the veil. In Murphy’s time, TV was still a pretty new thing. Carry on watching I say 😂

Dear Brian, I absolutely loved your work on this one and your ending open question: Should we stop watching horror movies? And to this I answer with two possibilities of answers... 1. Should we stop watching porno movies? 2. We will not obstruct others in watching horror movies the same way our mothers and fathers have not stopped us from experiencing our culture. All experience is there to be had, and yes, we all move on from state to state, thus, let us be concerned with the now of our being. Also, we all know the wisdom: what you pay attention to, is what you become conscious of.

When I was a caregiver and very stressed out, I was very sensitive to any kind of violence and negativity. Now that my mom has passed on and life has normalized, I really feel that I can enjoy certain genres, within my limits, with enjoyment. Like you said, it feels like I can separate it. If it's a good story and has meaning behind it But it's a good question. I do focus on much more spiritual content, so maybe it counterbalances. Or when I am watching something I have more spiritual thoughts running behind the film etc.

On horror films: I like the Ho'o ponopono (spelling) guru Dr Hue Len on why he watches the news on TV 'any way'. We'll, so he can clean on that bad news: to feel co-responsible and to thus be sorry for any negative situation and ask forgiveness therefore. Finalizing with the appreciation that momentum or the situation is towards the better. Similar to how you watch horror movies?

Hmm…. So for the past few years since my spiritual awakening really got going, I’d pretty much avoided watching movies all that much/lost my desire to, maybe one a two a year, but I also have always LOVED horror movies. So a few months ago I wanted to watch that old movie “Event Horizon” (because hell yeah, black hole+horror+Morpheus? I’m in!) 😆 So, I watched it… Lo and behold…. One of my kids creepy little stuffed zombie toys came to life! 🤣 funny, my mom had gotten it at a thrift store for him but he didn’t like it LOL go figure… and this happened like… immediately after the movie. And my house is essentially what I’d call a temple in a lot of ways, lots of meditation, crystals, good energies overall etc., but idk something about maybe bringing in much different frequencies (well that’s for sure) than is commonplace here, seemed to have brought some other unwelcome guests! 😆 like my animals and kid weren’t around, and the damn little zombie, right as I was looking at it, just on its own flipped itself over, and a few min later moved across the floor! Ok I’ll keep going this is hilarious. So I threw it over a fence (so it couldn’t walk back, duh!) across the street into this business parking lot. A few days later I see it hanging in their WINDOW just staring right at my front door 🤣 and it remained there for a few weeks until I convinced my mom to steal it and throw it away somewhere very far from my home. 😆 Annnnnd that’s the story of the last horror movie I’ve watched! (Unfortunately because I do miss them haha, but maybe I’ll just watch them at other places then, so the after effect is not my problem LOL)

If they don't make you feel dark, there's a pleasure in horror or disaster films.. Kants theory of the sublime explains why there's a romantic pleasure in viewing something like this. But of they're dark and make you feel off, you know it. I worked for a dance company that produced the darkest demonic productions, the culture of the company was so toxic in how they treated people... it was definitely linked. I had to quit.

For Action or even Horror films for me it’s less of the violence itself and more of the OVERCOMING and character growth with the inner struggle illustrated by the physical violence depicted. Even recently I was reviewing Hero’s Journey visuals like “Star Wars”, “The Lord of the Rings”, “The Matrix”,-hell even “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” and I was even contemplating… “where in my life are these scenes playing out?” And “What could I learn from these scenes?” Don’t get me wrong, I love Martial Arts films for the technique, choreography, and direction but I dislike when the story is weak or falls flat. I enjoyed “John Wick 4” for the most part and the idea of a character overcoming his past has always been a theme I connected with-but the fights were WAYYY too LONG. 🤣🤣🤣

I would get curious about why you get some sort of pleasure out of watching things that are horrible. The actual word horror is in the theme of what the film is about - the images and the outcomes are disturbing and not about life they’re about darkness 😢 I don’t want to expose my mind to anything that would tear it down or bring death or bring ideas of darkness My mind is a garden, and I want to tend to it with things that bring life and joy and peace And love. I absolutely cannot watch horror films. They disturb me so much. Also, I would get curious about what actually happens to your brain cells and the cells of your body when you watch things that are horrible. Our energy and our thoughts are a certain type of currency, and they are valuable - I would argue that we must invest them in things that are going to have the return that we desire 🙏🏼🤍

Brian, let me first say that I so appreciate you and all that you do. However, in response to your inquiry concerning horror movies, etc..I’m a tad perplexed. Weren’t you shot? That s a pretty rare occurrence & clearly violent by most standards. Again, not an attribution of blame, but to ask whether or not that context adversely impacts, I’m not positive either way & I don’t think minimal exposure does & if you enjoy it, potentially nullifies given we create the meaning but I guess with all things, intentionality dictates. Simply stated, making the intention “ hey, I’m going to enjoy this and not absorb the potentially detrimental energy” might be a free pass but blindly watching? Maybe not the best Again, zero clue Just my take

Yes, i had that too with horrors but when i got pregnant I simply stopped watching because I didn't feel it could be good for the baby. So i was highly motivated and the attraction just disappeared. I remember I didn't even watch the new lynch's Twin Picks movie because i knew it would haunt me at night. And i used to be a big Lynch fan for many years. What i think the horror gave me was that thrill i couldn't get in my real life and the feeling of security that was present knowing it was all just a show, so good to feel safe at home. But i feel a horror puts you in the now. Also a good horror show can be intense and can allow you to explore your fears in a very detached manner. It's so nice you are always so open to share your experiences. Thank you for your dedication! Love&Light 🤗❤🙏

I have always loved movies. I believe what you watch the mind perceives as being real. Now I generally seek out positive, comedic, or inspirational movies that are uplifting and joyful...the more I gravitate towards that, the more movies I find in that genre. I feel I am nourishing my brain with happy thoughts and vibrations. In the past, negative movies have caused nightmares and negative feelings lasting for days. I think if a movie gives you feelings of joy and excitement, whatever the genre, it is ok to watch them. I am happy to give you a list of my latest recommends😊.

As a person who typically avoids horror, my focus would be on the purpose behind viewing. After watching The Fall of the House of Usher, I was plagued by fear, paranoia, and a general sense of negativity for several days. My usually lucid dreams turned into nightmares. It seems that those accustomed to horror might cope better, or perhaps their viewing intent, such as seeking escape, diminishes the impact. Personally, I find both horror and the news too distressing. I prefer documentaries, not for escapism but to learn and revel in the often-celebrated successes they portray.

I agree with Joseph around horror movies and violent shows. *AND* what if there is a release and or transmutation that occurs? Could higher frequency occur or transmute these horrors? I personally can’t or won’t watch horror, violence, politics, because they hurt - I feel them all so deeply. My release that I use (and overuse) is in comedy. I am grateful for it as it gives me relief at times (Big Bang Theory atm). And I know that there are other ways. Thank you for your vulnerability and willingness to explore how this may not be the best thing for you! It truly helps others to know that we are not alone in our challenges. Blessings!

I stopped watching horror a couple of years ago because I could tell it’s influence on me. I hardly watch anything now but videos like this and anime lol. I haven’t gotten into Murphy much just what has been mentioned on KZitem but I have not read any of his books. his story on the brothers… I’ve told a similar story to help people understand… how strange, only my story I make them twins lol. I just got one of his books on my kindle. The power of the subconscious mind. I’ve been slow on getting all this as quickly as others I’ve known years now. But I can tell with all the stuff I’m purging… from stuff I own, to my way of thinking on certain topics, to letting go of many habits I had… it’s my time.

So, I get upset by the things my roommate watches. Horror films, slice and dice, really terrible things. The reason I get so upset by him watching those things is I cannot believe that he is so desensitized to violence and suffering that it doesn’t upset him to watch these atrocities. It physically makes me sick to see others in pain, in any way, much less watch some of the really demented things that he watches (like human centipede). It should be upsetting to anyone who is sympathetic to the human condition and it shocks me that you like horror movies, it actually really changes my opinion about you.

The Bible says multiple times do not fear. It is one of the enemies biggest weapons. When I would put myself in situations where the objective of the material I was digesting is fear based it would stem out into other areas of my life. I noticed heightened anxiety or worry in my life. Whether it was horror movies or music etc. So I have implemented more positive outlets in my life to keep my focus on such. But I do also believe you have to know how the enemy operates to beat them. But those temporary escapes always lead to trouble so I use caution. Not every voice in your head is of God.

I was raised by a narcissistic abuse victim and narcissist alchoholic father who traumatized me with horror movies at a young age. Ironically, i grew to enjoy the genre and loved exploring gothic horror, lovecraft and exestentialism that bled into and led to a spiritual awakening over the last three years after dealing with a young adolescent timespan of isolation, depression, and suicidal ideation. Im 25 now, my parents are dealing with their issues as i grow and communicate understandings of consciousness and the way the mind operates through archetypes and attachment to memory and emotional states, im an athlete, indie pro wrestler, writer, musician, dancer, and learning artist in my spare time while i learn how to work kitchen jobs on the side for a living. Im greatful for the lesson of fear, because it is the lesson of knowing your survival mechanism, which allows for growth. I chased fear down to the degree i feel as though i can sniff ill intention out of people's very body language, and now i just simply try to live life comforting and giving advice to people as i dance through life. A fighting dancer, and a survivor of peoples ill will, turned me into a fool, a sage, and a magician😌🙏for that life lesson, im eternally greatful. To know fear, is not to know devils and boogeymen, but to know your own shadow, and in turn, the capacity of your mind for seeing and analyzing what others turn a blind eye to. Fear leads to vigilance, and after vigilance, peace in knowing you yourself simply desire peace for those around you. Its letting go of that which lets you see, we all simply want to be at ease with our existence. Its a long rabbit hole down, but the journey back up and out where you began is worth the leap of faith. Best wishes to all, may you all come to know fear is there to help you grow, not to hinder you. Be humble and appreciate its severity, like a looming dragon infront of you, be able to stand in the face of it, and know it cannot touch you if you show the proper respect it deserves. In time, it wont leave your side but its capacity to hinder you will be more a boon then a detriment, because you will know of your capacity and limitations to a split second degree from living with it. And by that time, it will be a friend and ally to you rather than an adversary. Fear is the teacher of ones perceived limitations. You will always be a microcosmic inch stronger than what you fear, for the purpose of growth. Remember that and appreciate it.
