No pms at all. Since my second month of eating carnivore I have the most regular, pain free, unnoticeable cycles of my entire life. And I'm 47yo, former morbidly obese with over 500lb. I've had years over years either no period at all or heavy painful bleeding every two to three weeks. But now - I'm free. 🌸 Greetings from Germany from a 18 months carnivore girl. 😁

Also... thank you for your statement on how we look to others [cancer patients]. It's sooo true. Our closest friends keep looking at us that way. My husband lost 41 lbs and went from size 36 waist down to 32! I was 120 and now fluctuate between 100 and 102... went down to 99.8 once. We feel EXCELLENT. Now we're working out 3X a week, lifting heavy things 😊 and I'm getting some good arms. We can hardly wait till June to show off our muscles and look soooo good during bathing suit weather at our friend's pool. 😉

Cannot believe how many diagnostic tests everyone seems to be able to order through their doctor or private labs. Obesity caused illness. If I asked even for an exray or scan, my doctor would have to have a purpose to order, or health care here 🇨🇦 will not allow because of costs. Where I live our available healthcare is falling apart. So, becoming healthier with diet is my best approach.

At 31, I experienced a heart attack and had a stent placed in the LAD. Before the heart attack, my diet included a lot of carbohydrates like bread, processed food, and vegetables, leading to various health issues such as skin disease, GERD, H. Pylori, depression, diabetes, and obesity. I’ve been on statins for 24 years and currently weigh 165 lbs at the age of 55. Over the past 10 months, I’ve lost 35 lbs through a keto/carnivore diet, cutting out sugar and reducing carbs. I initially practiced a 12-hour intermittent fasting routine for 3 months, followed by 4 months of OMAD (One Meal a Day), maintaining this approach. I also incorporate a 15-minute intensive exercise routine. Despite my positive results, my cardiologist doesn’t believe in the carnivore diet, dismissing it when I mentioned KZitem testimonials. I’m currently on 20mg of statin, but my cardiologist refuses to adjust the dosage from 80mg to 40mg. Any advice on whether to discontinue or decrease my statin would be appreciated. Thank you.
@annakauffman2992

I don't know if you need to wean off or just stop the statin. Have you read the side effects of statins? Be your own advocate. What is the worst thing your doctor can do if you stop taking the statins, fire you as a patient? You might need to find a new doctor. Find the research about cholesterol & present it to your doctor.
@petertang9611

Statins are one of the few prescription medications that can be stopped cold turkey without causing any issues whatsoever. In the studies on the statins (funded by the companies that make them), even in the best case scenarios, they only manage to increase lifespan by 2-3 days for people. They're also really good at increasing cancer, diabetes, and dementia rates. They do seem to be pretty good at preventing minor heart attacks though, but they also seem to increase the chance of severe heart attacks. A minor heart attack can kill a person who has heart failure, so their benefit is mostly only for people who have heart failure (usually from a minor heart attack). In the end, it's up to you to decide what you want to do. The only real benefit of continuing to take them is to maintain the peace with your cardiologist, and there are real health benefits to having reduced interpersonal conflicts.

Just 20 seconds of all out fast exercise. A couple of times a day or so. Visceral fat elimination is the goal. It will help later creating a strong urine flow and a LOT LESS disturbance of bedtime. I was going to do carnivore just for 3 months but sounds like I might have to keep it this way indefinitely. I was healthy most of my life. Very fit ate healthy. Two years ago I had issues with my stomach and was put on PPIs for six months and after that everything went down hill!A year ago I got diagnosed with Hashimotos gall bladder sludge and pancreas issues.

I’m so sympathetic. My gastroenterologist put me on PPIs for GERD. It ruined my stomach lining and led to a diagnosis of celiac later on. The stupid doctor who was specialized in the gastrointestinal system had no clue about food and diet. I’ve gradually eliminated so many foods from my diet that hearing about carnivore and trying it was no big deal. In fact it helps. It’s easy to digest meat. I don’t need to eat more than twice a day. I can get by ok at 78. After years of misery. Keep the faith. Eat meat. Move your body. Live well.

Dr. Berry, your teaching ability is off the charts! Great example of how labotomies were handed out to young people not so long ago. That was a perfect reminder of, 'because this is what we know right now, then it is the perfect & best option' This thought process has caused harm to millions of souls. When I first read about Vioxx being responsible for 40,000 deaths, then I read the total death toll may have been 60,000, and then I read that well actually Vioxx had a connection to 500,000 heart attacks!!! WHAT?????? That was a great, great, great example to help people realize that over time, better solutions can be achieved. I Said all that to say to someone out there, if you are going through a health crisis & no doctor is giving you any answers, hang in there by staying as healthy as you can & as less stressed as you can be. Always listen to Dr. Berry & his wife & Dr. Anthony Chaffee too. Our bodies are miracle workers & when we can give our bodies the right fuel, the results are an unhealthy body returns to health!

Dairy --> weight gain, my experience (low carb since Oct 2021). Starting weight 80kg, got down to 62kg and stayed there for a long time (at least 1 year). Stopped cheese due to it causing constipation and ended up losing another 3kg without even trying. I now weigh what I did before I had my first child in 1985. A bit disappointed that I didn't keep my wedding dress (married 1980) because I would have loved to see whether it fits now. I don't think it would but I think it would nearly fit.

Help!! What are we going to do about sugars and seed oils in infant formula? My great grand baby is in the hospital recovering from open heart surgery (born with heart disorder). He is on a tube feed and they can give him breast milk (which they have abundance of) but insist on mixing it with formula which is full of seed oils and corn syrup! When asked to give a seed oil free formula only, they respond with, "it's all we have, you can use that when you get home." We got to do better than this. Of course he is not tolerating it all! Knowledge can be frustrating at times like this. What rights do we have when we are at the mercy of the medical establishment?

Are you eating eggs? Dairy? Are you sleeping well/enough or shift worker? Do you have any (more than regular minor) external stressors in your life? Are you doing any regular gentle exercise? These are just some ideas, I'm not a medical professional. Depending on what you are eating as a carnivore you might consider being very strict for a little while to see if it makes any difference and then if it did, you could introduce things one by one to see if you can find the cause. I'm currently testing whether tomatoes & capsicums/bell peppers are the cause of the itchy welts that I'm getting. I'm low carb but eating a lot more meat than I used to.

You said you could use raw bacon grease for moisturizer..... Campylobacter Yersinia enterocolitica Listeria monocytogenes Foodborne illnesses associated with raw or undercooked pork include: Toxoplasmosis: Although the parasite that causes this illness is harmless to most people, it can be dangerous for those with weak immune systems. Trichinosis: This disease is caused by a variety of roundworm parasites that cause vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue, and eye swelling.
@margomoore4527
8 ай бұрын
I grew up over our family’s meat market, and I learned what trichinosis was before I could spell P-I-G! As soon as I was tall enough to see what was on the counter, I tried to taste that pretty pink stuff and, boy, was I TOLD! And, beyond what you said, the trichina parasites invade your muscles AND YOU CAN’T GET RID OF THEM (unless pharma has developed a really effective parasiticide. But that would be toxic to you, too). If anyone advised bacon grease as a skin cream, I’m SURE they didn’t mean to say “raw”. And that would have salt in it, a dehydrating agent. So at least try pure unhydrogenated lard. Or beef tallow. Or lamb tallow (lanolin). Or just use high-grade olive oil. Somewhere I read “I’d rather smell like a salad than a sheep.”

Making ghee is super easy and advisable for dairy sensitive carnivores. Just gently heat a block of Kerrygold on the stove until melted but not bubbling/brown. Let sit momentarily so the solids drop to the bottom of the pan. Pour off the clarified butter (ghee) and trash the solids. 8 oz of butter will yield about 4-6 oz of ghee so there are more milk solids in there than you might think.

Maybe your doctor can have you slowly add these supplements and wean off of the rat poison blood thinners. Better yet, eat cod livers like Dr Berry and eventually wean off meds with help from your Dr. Good luck.

Re that Netflix special..you are what you eat...when the women chose their first born video..pre study they actually said they did not have enough time to choose the corn they wanted..their second time choosing corn they had lots if time and dus not have to watch the same porn they chose the first time. They should have been the same.

Carnivore since August 2023. Loving this !! 59 year old previous heart attack at 50. Though no one would tell me why it happened. I would guess inflammation as I was a healthy female at the time. Stent placed in LAD. Afraid to go see my cardiologist as she will be upset with me… not sure I care as I feel great!!!

I found this site in November 2022 while looking for help with persistent painful gas problems with IBS. My gas problem continues and now as of December 2023, I have triple negative breast cancer, stage 2. I'm 77, 5'1"', weight 110 (down from 130). The treatments my oncologists are likely to recommend are scary and not likely to help with the gas problem which is destroying me. I listened to Dr Berry and David Harper and found hope on the cancer issue.

I have been strictly PHD, carnivore, usually OMD since January. Before that on FODMAP DIET recommended by Dr. at UofMI bowel clinic since February 2020. Gradually I realized that plant foods were adding to my distress and naturally found myself on carnivore before I stumbled on Dr. Berry's amazing site. My POC can't help and recommends a return to UofMI, but I can't leave my house until my bathroom needs subside, usually by late afternoon. I was on the phone to make an appointment with UofMI when I got the call on my biopsy pathology. Sadly my new diet has not relieved any of my issues including incontinence, neuropathy or blepharitis that I see others are helped with. I will stick with it because I believe cancer is a metabolic disease and it's all I can do without the influence of drugs or doctors. Thanks for your helpful comments.

Dr Berry addressed a woman at the 22:43 mark and said to check her fasting insulin levels. If they were 0 or very low, she may be Type 1 Diabetes. I had mine checked just after going Keto and mine is 5. I'm not diabetic that I know of. A1C 5.4 Is 5 too low?

Why do you have to copy your husband? YOU set the example. Slowly I am influencing my husband, over time. He also gets dietary advice from 2 doctors and his personal trainer. First thing is to get the guy exercising. Carnivore or low carb goes down better for a dude if he wants to build his muscles! Most recently my husband has stopped with bread and English muffins. His motivation is to live a long life, but only if he can mind our accounts and wipe his own ass, so he says. His father died at 68 of morbid obesity, diabetes and heart disease. His last blood results put him 1 point away from prediabetes, so that put the fear of God into him. So we eat low-carb but not carnivore. I think he’ll get there in the end. He’s 76 and still working, so he needs energy! We’ve been married just 5 months short of 50 years. Best wishes for you setting the example!

Doc, I just hit 90 days as Carnivore yesterday. Down to my goal weight of 175 (that is a big difference from when I was my heaviest in 2019......248 lbs at 5'10", 61 years old). Joint pain, gone. Chronic neck pain at C6 & C7 gone. Gut issues, seesawing between diahrrea and constipation, gone. Floaters in my vision, gone. Feeling fantastic. Just wanted to mention that on an episode of Prehistoric Planet that there was a dinosaur 66 million years ago who ate charcoal to detox from the plants it had eaten. So glad I found this WOE. Thank you for all you do!!!!!
