I can't forget the first day I heard this master class while in a cab heading to mile 2 Lagos Nigeria. I was just there listening as the driver was playing it on a low tone and the song awakened something inside me and I really messed myself with tears running down from my eyes uncontrollably. Sincere that day, it has been my music of the moment. May Baba's soul continue to rest in peace. As an Igbo guy. I hold Dr Orlando in high Esteem. Will always love him.

Even in 2020, Dr. Orlando's voice still resonates! Good music never dies! Yoruba music legends preach with their songs! They emphasize the importance of living a good life so as to leave a good legacy! The present situation of the country shows how lost Nigeria is. Bandits, Herdsmen, Boko Haram terrorising Nigerians daily! How did we come to this? Materialism and religious fanaticism! Is this the kind of country we are leaving for our children? Yoruba e se rere oooo

A genius beyond his time, he was a musical wizard. Mr. Orlando Owoh was a self-taught guitarist and a multi-musical instrumentalist, listening to his music reminds me of the dignity of Yoruba language, the ingenuity of our people and the cultural superiority of the Yoruba people, our innovative spirits and the domination of the Yoruba influence all over the world. The song reminds me of my early childhood in Nigeria. It has intrinsic beauty, poetic and allegoric sonnets of the Yoruba Language. Albeit, the influence of Yoruba customs and traditions exist in Britain, the Carribean Islands, in the Spanish Colonies, South and North America, so prevalent in black America culture.

You know the worth of Naira that time was worthy. l decided to travel from Lagos via lbadan to Akure to meet a native doctor that will curse on whoever stole the money. Bicus l got to lbadan late l decided to keep a night at Mokola Roundabout hotel. Unknown to me Orlando was there to perform the "weekend jump" l kept the night to watch his show till day brake and forgot about stolen money and went back to Lagos, and forgot my sorrows l.was very overwhelmed with his music.
