Happy mothers day to all. Such a unique soul she was. Truly inspiring. Unique in every way. Mauri, for me mauri is the life force around us and in us, meaning we are all connected through the same source. I also call it kotahitanga, oneness. I see this, feel this in nature, insects, birds, people, animals, all living creatures. That gives you the understanding that what you see in others is a reflection of self. Much love.

Kia ora from Illinois in the US. I hate to ask this here but I've ran out of places to look. Does anyone know where I might locate a copy of Te Wheke? I've been searching the US and websites in Aotearoa for over two years now but no one has any of them. We need that knowledge here but it is no where to be found. Thank you for your time. Blessings!

@16:50 "We are just one; we're all related with one family. So you better sort yourselves out [in regard to the neurotic perception of " 'wht' is right; 'blk' is yak"]. --Dr Rangimārie Turuki Arikirangi Rose Pere "The biggest enemy of all is *ignorance." --Awanui Black The Divide and Conquer game is something they play very well. We have melanated *(ab)Original* descended brothers and SiStars all over the World who have traded comfort and some semblance of 'acceptance' and 'respect' from the 'wht' socio-political ee-leet. It goes on in every place they have descended upon and appropriated everything from economic resources to culture (their churches are built upon our temples and sacred sites) - even the Spirits of some (enough to cause chaos, confusion and division). The Momas of Columbia call Eu [rope] an descended people "Little Brother". It is an appropriate moniker given their past, present and continuing moral and Spiritual immaturity. *Arrogance + Ignorance = Savagery* It is time to awaken from the Wes [tern] colong-ial Dreaming and grow up. _____________________________________________________

@@majeickmoon7076 I am not sure what you take umbrage with here. Dr. Pere would be the first one to detail the moral and Spiritual immaturity of colonialism. She fought against it her entire Life. So what exactly do you believe my comment dishonors in the regard to your esteemed family member?

@@majeickmoon7076 so much hate Caroline. It's disappointing to see, to be honest. "I see people with sour faces and I'm like whoah, but I can usually get a smile out of them" That's from your grandmother. Good luck on your journey my friend. I hope one day you will see the clarity in the original posters comment and not take things so personal.

@@majeickmoon7076 This is a public, democratic forum Ms. Hanara. You dictating to me what should/should not be said makes you no better than the colonizers your beloved elder fought against. I am sure she would scold you firmly for putting your own selfish desires above the freedom of someone else's right to speak. Like I said, indoctrinatelion within this Western paradigm is insidious; it is time to grow up.
