We saw him every night on the local news. His words have stayed with me all this time.

Did you know him ? He was amazing and a true person he took care of me from brink of death I spent 6months in ICU he took care of me and visit me at 2am strictly to see me just to talk and keep me entertained and told me soooo many stories about his life and growing up with willie nelson his best friend. I will always cherish my time with him . He didnt sugar coat anything he let you know the seriousness of everything and told it like it was everytime. He nicknamed me Hoss cause he had never seen someone heal and recover from what happened to me soo fast let alone live from it

My dad met him once back when he lived in Texas. Said he’s exactly like how he is here.

I miss this man and his reports 😥...At the same time, I'm so glad he's not here to go through 2020 with covid and everything else.

words to live by. And this was in the 1980s...and it's gotten worse since then. And he's right there is nothing like walking around the ranch at night, listening to the bubbling brook and the animals...it's a natural calmative and better than anything you can get in pill form (which sadly too much of this country is relying upon)
