The BBC have produced multiple adaptations of Dracula on TV and radio, and almost all of them have been broadcast at Christmas. In 2006 the BBC broadcast two versions.
On BBC1 there was a new feature-length drama starring Marc Warren as the count, and David Suchet as Van Helsing. But, a few weeks earlier on the BBC World Service, David Suchet had played the count himself in a two-part adaptation of Liz Lochhead's stage version of Dracula. Though this was broadcast around Halloween, it was repeated the following year over Christmas. Both episodes are presented here. Aside from David Suchet, a young Tom Hiddleston features in the cast as Jonathan Harker.
