Yes sir I agree with that it’s a handicap for me I’m terrible with math I know money but terrible at measuring and dividing and times table but I live in Canada and they went metric went I was just starting to learn math and the metric system came out and I can’t understand to this day

Effective ratio..that is correct. Good Info. Final gear ratio...or the gear ratio when the tire is squatting can change drastically with as little as 2psi of change. A hard planting suspension and low tire pressure can cause your effective gear ratio to change 2 full points. Changing your tire diameter up too 10 inches.

@@218422100 oftentimes, the front seal around balancer could go out. Also oil pump is in front. Brake cleaner it all and keep an eye out

Also explain skinny front tires I believe can help you at Xmas tree maybe I’m wrong but I was told wen I first raced that skinnies would help you stage deeper or better am I wrong or right I did the taller tire thing and I had 391 and the taller tire made it roughly a 410

Hey Jeff. When it comes to front tires, skinny tires weigh less. If you can get the weight off the front end, that’s always a bonus. The major difference maker in front is the tire’s circumference and height. The staging beams run across the lanes. You have to break the beam for the counter to start. Width won’t change anything there, but a taller tire reacts differently in the beams.

I had a set of slicks that were the same exact tires bought at the o time. One was little bigger. I had to run more air in one to make them the same. Because the front end jumped to one side a little when I launched it
