TY. It's getting easier to pick the clothes and shoes that work for me and my D wardrobe is getting more functional now. Only prob is finding those outfits each year. Seems like fussier clothes are always available because they look so nice in pictures online shopping. So, i have fewer outfits and more pieces I'm working slowly into my wardrobe as I find bottoms or tops to work with what I have.

Some tips from my friend who has the same problem - high waist and tuck shirt, cropped jackets and coats or long one but nothing in the middle of the hips, two colored dresses with a higher bottom part in contrast color. Everything what puts the waist a little bit higher visually. And the last one - pointy shoes in the same color as pants, pantyhose and so on, no cropped pants. She suffered a lot until she created these simple rules for herself so I hope I helped!

I have the opposite problem! I’m 6’2”, but I have the same leg length of my 7’ dad… and about 6” from my waist to the tops of my shoulders 😵💫 Thankfully I like wearing dresses, and that’s so much more forgiving for proportions
@subtleworkings1164

I'm in this boat as well. What's working for me is combining some tips from the other dramatic / flamboyant types with the dramatic style. In addition to my proportionately short legs, I'm a little short overall for a dramatic (5'7"). So for my body, pairing flamboyant gamine cuts and shapes with dramatic colors and fabrics is really helpful, especially right now for summer clothes. But I could see some dramatic classic or flamboyant natural tips working too, depending on your own proportions!

I love this video. ❤ I only recently discovered the Kibbe system and fell down a bit of a rabbit hole. I always looked to people like Keira Knightley, Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton and Audrey Hepburn (not a dramatic, i know) as style icons. I was also always drawn towards that typical dramatic style for myself - no flounces or fussiness or typically femine clothes. I love shirts, trousers, suits, long simple dresses. I was unsure if i was a dramatic because my legs aren't particularly long but i realise now that the don't have to be. My length is primarily in my torso and my arms. I also have very long narrow feet and hands and those tiny boney wrists and ankles that you mentioned! I think even if we don't know our body type, most of us will be drawn to what suits us and will know what looks good on us. Unless of course you're really trying to fight against your body and just go with trends/fashion and what's popular. Thanks for making these videos though. You're very knowledgeable amd explain it so well. 🙂

I am 174cm and look taller. I have wider sharp shoulders but my torso is slim. I just have a little more breast. Similar to Jamie Lee Curtis. My face is also slim with wider set eyes and really straight heavier eyebrows, when i don't plug. My nose is more prominent than sharp. I feel my face is more close to "soft" Benedict Cumberbatch than to really dry Tilda Swinton 😂. Greets from Hamburg ❤

As a soft dramatic myself, i suppose it doesn't apply to SD. Most if this (separate items especially, not dresses) will be too sharp/harsh and disharmonious on me, bulky or heavy, especially in bust area. But anyway, I could use most dresses and make some other combos with some tops/bottoms if i had to :-) But for pure dramatics it gives such iconic look! Ah sometimes i envy this body structure.
