To put the value of NBA fines into perspective: Jamal Murray makes $36,016,200 this season, so a $100,000 fine is 0.28% of his salary. A person making $60,000 salary would be fined $167 at that percentage. Draymond, you’re awesome man, but your comment that the NBA doesn’t set players up for wealth or that these fines are unfair is so out of touch with normal people. You made over $24M this year, which is what a doctor making $400K would make in 60 years! And doctors pay taxes too.

Same reason pippen not in the convo with 6 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 More Nuance than just that. You don't just count one's rings and say oh he is worthy of the goat. There are players you haven't heard of that got more than Kobe. And you're not making a case for them. Shaq was the finals mvp 3 times on the Lakers he was the dominant best player. Other players in the goat convo didn't have another player better than them dominate as the best player. Also the career stats and accolades added in.

Tim Duncan has 5 chips, 3 fmvps, 2 mvps, was 5-1 in the finals and never gets brought up. Bill Russell won 11 championships (8 in a row), 5 mvps, and couldn't win any fmvps or dpoy's because the awards didn't even exist. He should really be the "goat" if we are basing it off championships. People say Wilt is the "goat" and he only has 2 championships, but they just loved watching him play. The "goat" is all based on opinion and can be whoever YOU want it to be.

Draymond getting suspended was 100% about when he SHOULDVE automatically suspended against okc for accumulation of flagrant foul points when he kicked Stephen Adams in the nuts in the WCF that year where he got called for a flagrant 2 which was later downgraded by the league the next day to a flagrant 1. This was in the spirit of doing him a HUGE favor and not allowing it to affect the series outcome. A series in which they ended up DOWN 3-1. Doing what he did to Lebron was a questionable flagrant 1 foul but the gift he got against okc is never talked about when they talk about this

I think Draymond take on why kobe is left out of the GOAT talk is spot on. You can tell Draymond is a student of the game. He was able to speak on NBA teams prior to him being a NBA player. I disagree with him about state of Indiana getting a title. that state loves basketball. the fanbase is nowhere near as large as NYC but the love of the teams are equal. but the knicks being more valuable to the NBA winning a title over small market makes business sense

@@R711@R711 kobe average 28 ppg vs klay including his scoring after achilles but removing 3 games after achilles and more injuries of kobe he average 34.6 vs gsw when klay started to play in nba. Yeah. He will not average 50 but 38 or 40 ppg vs klay. This is the scenario if they didn't double kobe. Kobe will be destroy klay thats the fact his lowest scoring vs klay is 27 from 2012 without achilles injuries he have multiple 40+ and 30+ so imagine athletics prime😮 kobe. Or even 2008-2010 kobe. If kobe destroy bowen and manu average almost 30 pppg in 6 playoffs against better defender than klay in the playoffs. Or ron artest and battier vs houston in the playoffs kobe average 32 ppg against this two. What do you klay will do better? And those i mention is also a dirty defender. So if they double kobe shaq will be demolished the rim you for getting you have small line up. Harper is old but he is 6'6 he can switch to klay. Fisher will held curry and kobe will guard him trust me young kobe will take it personally. So how can you stop kobe and shaq if you have small line up. Small ball will not work on them. The only things gsw can do make kobe and shaq fight look what happen 2004 vs detroit they have beef. They are not talking to each other that time and when they talk they fight.
