Can you do a video about if a green tree monitor is right for you? There are videos that go over it but for many reasons I think you would have a more valuable input. That and I can never get enough of your monitor.

Hope you're well and Sabzi too! Not only does he appreciate the upgrade but so do I! Lockdown's...hard... If you were to make a future Sabzi vid, then I'd LOVE a care vid, lol. However you did tell me you don't like making care guides due to everyone's personal opinions and preferences, so maybe the next best thing? A walkthrough of day to day life of Sabzi, just basically what you do for him. (I guess it kind of is like a care Guide, maybe just maybe you're more comfortable doing that). Stay safe!

@SpectrumVivaria
4 жыл бұрын
If you want to try some plant species that can do well with tree monitors try ficus varieties. They are really hardy and grow fast so they can withstand the constant harassment of monitor claws better than most. For my own setup I have Ficus benjamina (weeping fig), Ficus alii (bamboo/long leaf ficus) and Epipremnum aureum (golden pothos). It's great that you added some more climbing structure in the setup as they really will take advantage of that!

Thank you kindly for the recommendations friend! I’d definitely like to do this. My only issue is I’m not a fan of using F. benjamina for this enclosure and that’s the only species you can find small enough commercially for this sized enclosure. I’d really like to use Ficus alii once I build his adult enclosure. Many thanks and keep up the great work! Your videos are fantastic and I’m seriously considering using your tutorial to build Sabzi’s adult home

Reptiliatus so nice, so cheap, so easy to put together! And that top shelf placed higher makes room for plants on moss poles. I used a light meter to see how much light the plants were getting from LEDs in each shelf and it was better than what they were getting from my north window.

I go back and forth as I don’t need to but it would be incredible owning a pair and having the opportunity to reproduce them.
