In 1992, Dream Theater had the track 'Metropolis Pt. 1'... In 1999, they decided to make 'Metropolis Pt. 2' an entire concept album titled 'Scenes from a memory'... based on the theme of Pt. 1. "Dance of eternity" is an instrumental that fused a number of themes from the 'Metropolis' saga (the 2nd track intro of the album and 'Dance of eternity' share the same one as 'Metropolis Pt. 1') It is literally 1 of their most technically challenging tracks to pull off live. When drummer Mike Mangini auditioned for Dream Theater in 2010, he had to play "Dance of eternity"... here u see him play it in concert🤘🤘🔥 "Breaking the 4th wall" was this concert DVD recorded in 2014 on that tour, when Dream Theater played Berkeley, where 3 of their founding members formed Majesty at music school back in the 80's... They performed that show w/ the Berkeley School of Music orchestra⚡🔥

"The Hunter" is also a touching song bc it is about the death of the guitarists brother. I don't know if you've gone on to listen to more of this band, but, they are highly versatile, with many, many forms of songs. I would suggest a few different style songs in the following, if you may care to listen to them just personally, or make a video or two with them: The Count of Tuscany, The Best of Times, Anna Lee, Take Away My Pain, Lifting Shadows Off a Dream, Six O'Clock, In The Name of God, Solitary Shell, Disappear, Blind Faith and Octavarium. There are a few softer ones in there, a couple mainstream style songs, and a couple heavier ones, like the ones you've heard too. Just figured I'd offer some names, in case you may want some pre-sorted for a few different styles. This band is crazy. XD

This whole album is a sequel to a song called Metropolis pt 1 (from the album Images & Words). And this song in particular is filled with melodies, themes and riffs from that original song. If you are looking for a band you have never heard that doesn't seem to have any blocking issues with the other reactors out there, try the Canadian Bluegrass band The Dead South. Here are some links to a few of their songs. Their most successful video has 267 million views on KZitem and is called "In Hell I'll be in good company". m.kzitem.info/news/bejne/o2984IqesGqQlY4 One of my personal favorites of their's is "The Recap" kzitem.info/news/bejne/xG9pl5iHa4efgXY Then there is "That Bastard Son" with a very memorable chorus. kzitem.info/news/bejne/ym9r2XmOaotzn3Y And, amazingly, all these great songs are all off only their first album. That whole album is solid.

Thanks Jamal! These guys are all Master Musicians at the top of their game! My introduction to Dream Theater was PULL ME UNDER and OMG is their catalog f-ing amazing! But John Petrucci is a wizard with a guitar and Mike Portnoy is a beast on the drums! Second only to the Professor himself, Neill Peart! Love this? Liquid Tension Experiment is Dream Theater without lyrics. The four main musicians from DT, Rudess, Petrucci, Portnoy and Myung have so much spare time and music lying around they had to form another band to be able to express it.... And Mike Portnoy has another side project Sons of Apollo!! And their stuff ROCKS!! Try SOA - GOD OF THE SUN. You won't be disappointed...
