FYI - I emailed Drew's. They said they are going to add the Honey Lug Logger sole very soon. They understand a lot of guys are contractors who stand/work on concrete surfaces quite often.

It's clear they've improved upon some aspects of the classic PNW work boot, with the improved last and modern shoe manufacturing processes available in Leon Mexico. The United States government, which has long been under the control of incredibly malicious intergenerational organized criminals, does everything they can to make sure manufacturing anything in the country is as arduous and uneconomical as possible. They've purposefully undermined American manufacturing to throttle prosperity and to eventually destroy this nation. Used to be the case that America's only taxes were on imported goods, now look at it.

I think we will see more, and more of this trend. Drews has shown what can be done outside of the USA. With this outstanding boot.

I ordered a pair February 11. At the time of purchase the wait period was 2 to 3 months. I called to see if my boots are ready, they said they need 2 to 3 months due to over flow and supply chain issues. So now I’m still waiting probably for another month, I hope the boot fits and it was worth waiting 5 to 6 months

I spoke with one of the owners Kyle Baker yesterday. He was on a plane to Leon Mexico as we were talking. He is going there to figure out why there are delays, I can tell you the boots are well worth any wait your having. I hope you get them soon.

I just ordered this exact boot today. Itll be my first true logger boot. I went 1/2 size down from my brannock. But the width is what im worried about. My brannock is 12e. And its just barely an e width. So i went 11 1/2d hoping the slightly wider width of the 55-1 will be enough as i think the EE width would be too much
@maxwellhouseranch1004

You should be just fine. They are definitely a wider boot. I would say the D width is more like an E. I have to wear thick Darn Tough socks, or they are too loose in the width for me.

How does the brown rough out color compare to some of your other PnW boots? I believe you’ve said that you own whites but not Nick’s. I’m wondering how the Drew’s leather color compares to the Walnut used in Frank’s, Nick’s, and likely White’s. That competition between the Frank’s Patriot and the Drew’s Logger from Leon really makes these more accessible to boot nerd noobies. Thanks for the ongoing info about these.

I owned Nicks Ranger boot in brown smooth, I have Whites, smoke jumper brown roughout. The Drew's brown roughout is a darker brown than the Whites roughout. It looks great. Nothing against Frank's boots, however The Patriot Boot has nothing on this boot.

@@maxwellhouseranch1004 thanks for the insight. That’s how it looked from online pictures, but you know how lighting differences can skew how the leather colors really look. That pre-molded sole seems like it would make a huge difference for break in & comfort.
