Exercises within the project "Shoot it!" filmed by Belgian football/soccer coach Wesley Deschacht, head coach of the U15 football/soccer team KV Oostende. The exercise is intended primarily for warm-up within football training. 8-12 players aged U15 are involved in the exercise.
The aim of the exercise is to practice dribbling and controlling the ball, movements, passing to teammates after the player dribbling ball at the opponent's foot, creating space to receive the pass and choosing the right space in the combination. Players regularly alternate their roles of active player and passive wall-passing player.
In the exercise, we focus on the correct technical action, good body position and its opening before receiving the ball and the timing of the pass to the player who changed the direction of movement before receiving the ball and had to orient himself well in space.
