I've used this drill so many times in my gym, both for rec and team. It really helps the kids see how they are (or aren't) getting power out of their round off. For rec classes where I am not as concerned with paying super close attention to their shapes, it helps them learn how to stay tight on the rebound rather than just crumpling haha. For our level 2s and 3s, this is really great in teaching them body awareness and how to perform appropriate corrections the coach is specifically asking them for. Besides, the kids think it's fun which is always a plus. Thank you for sharing this one!

When I first saw this drill I was like “oh goodness, she’s going to drop that far onto her hands?! My kids would not be able to do this, this drill won’t be for my kids.” Then I actually watched it and I was like “ohhh that makes more sense and seems more do-able!” I’m going to try it tonight with my kids!

…don’t fight gravity, use it to your advantage. Falling doesn’t happen without gravity, with out falling we can’t tumble, or run…. Anyway… nice video
