The bolts are for you to strip then by hand. And it has to be done in reverse not forward.

Did you read the instructions? It is not the $7 that is a waste it is the 12 minutes I wasted to see if you would ever figure out how to use the tool correctly. Run the drill in reverse. And by the way the two screws you couldn't figure out form a T-Handle so you can use the tool without a drill.

Bro, the center hole is for the wire you're going to connect to a terminal. Using a wirenut with a passthru hole, you can gang multiple wires together so that you can connect it to an outlet/switch/ground/etc

Overall does the tool work alright? I was mainly wanting it for twisting 4 wires at once

use logic, maybe that middle hole is for the already stripped ground cable?

Strip the insulation on the center hole wire. Then the side wire leave on. Hold the pliers right up against the side of bit.. then turn on. Works great.

I found the same problem with the one that I bought but still I appreciate the wires and I use it by hand to twist them together it's still a good tool for that otherwise like you said seems like a waste of its original job description that it is intended to perform

This tool does what it claims to do but only if you operate the drill “COUNTERCLOCKWISE “

You do not run it in reverse! First off the splice would unwind with a wire nut making a terribly loose connection and fire hazard. Needs slow speed wih solid and better with a plastic coating on the insulation. I got mine off ali express 3 years ago for $3... worth a try. Works great minus the damage your pliers make holding the wire while you spin.

you have to do it with the drill spinning the other way

The tool Works sounds like you just need to strip the center wire it's better than having to strip all 5 wires

Put a screw in each side of the threaded hole till they meet in the middle and tighten it makes a t handle so you can use it by hand instead of using a drill

I bought a set of these and wow what a disappointment. There are ways, but Has to be the Right Size wire, Right speed on drill, Right Pull on the wire to draw it out. YOU have to be SO Perfect to get it to work & even then it is not worth it.

You are supposed to go slow and Push the drill towards the pliers. You are pulling it away. The directions I got were so small I had to take a pic with my phone and magnify them

There are many ways to connect wires. Twisting is the most ugly, unprofessional one and this kind of automated stripping is the best way to provoke a cable fire, if there are some remains between the twist.

TIM from Canada if you were buying a tool and you were doing a review on this. Your best suggestion is to go to KZitem figure out what you were doing first then do your review. For the guy in the video you should have gone to KZitem put in the item you are reviewing this way you can get a video to see what you were doing first Half ass operation you got going

I don't think this tools main use is for stripping. Have u ever had to wire a receptacle or multiple switches in a box etc? When ur dealing with wire 16ga and bigger (lower in number lol) this little gadget comes in handy tying several wires together! And please read the directions before u demo ANY tool. Ur not helping ur channel and ur damn sure not helping the company behind the tool!
