*Note; Players should have proper shooting (form) technique before beginning this workout. Also, have enough self discipline to finish this entire workout, because most players "short cut" their way through a (solo) workout, that's why most average players don't make the professional level. Don't cheat yourself, treat yourself!
Accuracy Warm-up Drill #1:
-Shoot for the middle of the (side) backboard. Shoot the ball with proper form (players who need tips on proper technique, email us). Hold your follow-thru until the ball hits your target. / Shoot 25 repetitions (only count shots that hit the target, don't count any shots that veer off to the right or left.
Accuracy Warm-up Drill #2:
-Line up your shooting foot on a straight line on the floor. Use the same (shooting) power as if you were shooting a free throw. Hold your follow-thru until the ball bounces on the line. Again, shoot with proper technique. / Shoot 25 (only count balls that hit the line).
Spin Outs: (Hold your follow-thru until ball touches the net or rim / 5 spots= corners, wings & top)
-1 Dribble Jump Shot / Make 10 total (5 going right, 5 going left) in each of the 5 spots. / 50 made total after 1st drill
-Spin Outs Reverse Pivots Jab Step Jump Shots / Make 10 total (5 jabs right, 5 jabs left) in each of the 5 spots. / 100 made total after 2nd drill.
-Jab Step 2 Dribble Step Back Jump Shots / Make 10 total (5 jabs right, 5 jabs left) in each of the 5 spots. Make sure to land on balance after your step back. / 150 made total after 3rd drill.
-Jab Step 1 Dribble Step Back Jump Shots / Make 10 total (5 jabs right, 5 jabs left) in each of the 5 spots. Make sure to land on balance after your step back. / 200 made after 4th drill
Transition 3-Point Jump Shots: (Make sure your body is straight up & down when taking jump shot)
-Push the ball with "game speed" momentum and take the pull up 3 point jump shot. / Make 10 in each of the 3 spots (Spots= wings & top) / 230 made after 5th drill.
Free Throws: Use your same free throw routine on every shot / Make 20 free throws (goal: 20 in a row) / 250 shots made total!
