I make this recipe as an ice tea with the same ingredient. I mix all the ingredients well in a blender and store in a pitcher in the refrigerator. I make enough for an entire week. I have one cup before my last meal of the evening at least one hour before bed. Easy!

I drank this last night and it worked for my sleep. I slept all night till 9 am this morning. Good thing I go in till 3 today .. it’s been years since I last slept more than 10 hrs straight 😂😅 it made my body feel relaxed . I put stevia instead of the honey because I’m fasting . This is a great concoction, but two potential problems with the timing on it: you cannot use this at night, if you are intermittent fasting, it would totally break a fast because of the honey. Also, for anyone with serious, GERD issues, you need a whole lot more than 30 minutes to let the acids settle. Especially because honey is a major proponent of acid as well (at least with me!). So, I will drink this concoction immediately after my last meal, rather than right before bed. That way it doesn’t break your fast, doesn’t cause acid reflux, and you still get all the benefits. 👍🏻

@@ericaquick7157 hey I don’t see anyone else responding so I’m just giving you my own take on what has helped me. I have a number of autoimmune disorders and other things that have caused a lot of weight gain for me either from hormones, or steroids etc.. finally after suffering with over 50 lbs of weight gain my cardiologist and rheumatologist told me what to do. It works!! They can’t just tell you because of the way the medical system is which is ridiculous! As I don’t want medicine I want to fix what’s wrong! Ugh anyway I guess after knowing them so long they finally trusted me to give me some advice. This tea absolutely 100 percent works and you can also look up banana tea for sleep on here and any recipe is amazing for sleep and anxiety. It’s an amazing thing those bananas! Besides this I took their advice and switched to a plant based diet and added fresh legumes (soak for three days in a big bowl on the counter) it removes the stuff our body can’t break down that causes gas. Let me tell you my bloat went away instantly eating this way and I lost 12 lbs my first 2 weeks!! Finally! I even noticed a huge difference in the way I felt. Also try to eat 1 cucumber daily for energy and much more benefits! Good luck with your journey and I hope I could help a bit 🙏🏼

Sunday after watching your video I went to Walmart and happy to say they had all the right things to buy. Then I measured my fat and bloated belly right before I drank my first one Monday night 51 inches. Then drank Tuesday nights and now its Wednesday morning and I measured my belly again and By God! @@mimi-pe8um, since I am intermittent fasting, I now drink this about 15-20 minutes before I break my fast with food. It helps get the digestive juices going and good probiotics in my stomach. Since I drink during the day, I don't use chamomile tea, because I don't want to be tired. Honey can easily be left out of the drink. It just helps cut the bitterness of the acids, if you don't like that taste.

Hi Sandy, I can honestly say that your tea does work!! I have taken myself off the amnitryptalene sleeping pills and been replacing it with your wonderful sleep aid. Not exactly sure about the weight loss results, but I did happen to lose 2 lbs in 2 wks!!! I also have been drinking fruit smoothies in the morning * Gluten-Free. Salads or something light for lunch and dinner is whatever I feel like cooking (G.F. of course.) and I am taking a bit less than I normally would and slowly making the portions smaller and smaller until I am at the proper portion size I need to be eating. Honey is just like sugar and will spike the insulin making it impossible to lose weight for next 12 hours I recently dropped over 100 lbs in about 8 months and skin went back tight from daily walking or jogging and cutting all sugar and carbs, fasting will also cut the insulin I would fast 16 hours then in 8 hour period eat low or no carb food. fasting daily has many health benefits on it's own but will speed weight loss.

My dietician told me my metabolism is low and I have to eat 5 times a day every 2 - 4 hours.. So I have to be eating at least at a 10 hour window.. So does it work if we fast 14 hours? I menopaused and gained so much weight.. Even I was skinny my whole life..

@@sandyscuba6101 Look into fasting I know I saw dietations and tried weight loss plans and nothing work than I want on organic eggs nuts and no carb like cabbage and in one month I lost 35 pounds and on traditional diets I could barely lose a pound after a month of suffering But look into the research make your decision everybody's different

For additional health benefits, use Ceylon cinnamon from your health food store as not all cinnamons are equal and pay the extra for local honey (honey made within a 30-50 mile radius of your home)! Great video!

I concur. The Chinese Cinnamon has too much courmarin which is said to be hard on the liver under heavy use. Raw honey does not like too much heat; just warm enough for dissolution is the right way to preserve its nutritional content; otherwise, if it's too hot, you'll be left with just sugars.

I used this recipe a year ago. I used it at noon and at night. I used it for a month and 1/2 and dropped 13 pounds. I also fasted for about 4 days randomly during this time. I cut down carbs and sweets. And no food after 8pm. It worked for me. Now I started this again to drop what I don't need.

Intermittent fasting......up to 23 hours a day. 1 hour eating window. Try to reduce carbs and refined sugar to the lowest amounts possible. That's the answer and good luck :)

The intermittent fasting is good, but make it so you have a meal in evening or you can't sleep from hunger. I do a 18hr fast 6 eating window. THE BEST thing for me was the free CRONOMETER app. It really holds you accountable and is super easy to use. I do the biggest 2lb/week deficit(1000cal a day) and set lifestyle at sedentary even though I work out. But even a 1lb(500 cal/day) deficit will be successful. Basically it gets your mind programmed on what is good and bad to hit your macro goals(protein/carb/fat percent) I do a 40% protein and 30/30% for fat and carbs but you can change it to maybe 35/35/30 for a woman who isn't trying to retain or build muscle along the journey. Staying in caloric deficit is the key

I make mine by making my water very hot in my tea pot. I place my honey and cinnamon in my tea cup until they dissolve. I put my tea bag in next. I put my vinegar and lemon in next and by the time my tea is cool enough to drink, it is perfect. I enjoy every sip with my straw. It's really good this way! 😁

If you put the honey while the water is hot it will kill the good enzymes in it. Try to wait till it is about lukewarm to get all the benefits of the honey.

Fantastic explanation Sandy. I use apple cider vinegar pills. I have lemon wat in the morning with stevia to take out the bitter taste I ave camomile tea with GABA magnesium ashwagandha sometimes theonine before bed. If you have acid reflux, this is NOT for you. Instead, drink a warm version of this in the morning, take a 30-minute hike before you start your day, and eat only from 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. You will lose weight faster.

I think there is something to do with age and not sleeping as well as we get older. I hit 50 and struggle a little more. The chamomile is so calming on my body. Another tea that has really helped me sleep is the Yogi "bedtime" tea. P.S. Your picture sure doesn't look like a 69 year old! You go, girl!

This is a great recipe and video. Thanks for sharing. Here's a cool tip, when juicing a lemon by hand, do it over a strainer so the seeds stay out. Also, maybe if you put the cinnamon through a fine mesh strainer and use a small whisk to incorporate it into the drink it might blend better. A whisk is the best when it comes to getting all of your ingredients incorporated.

Hello! That is great that it has gotten rid of the acid reflux. Acid reflux hurts. I was wondering about the not losing weight part...Could it be because of the honey? Honey does cause a sugar spike in our blood and when we have a sugar spike, our bodies many times does stores it as fat. Maybe if you take out the honey, you will have some success in weight loss...that is if that is even a goal for you.

Apple cider vinegar does wonders, I add it in with my fiber supplement before bed as we do not get enough fiber from food in our diets, gotta keep things moving! Great video Sandy!!

Oh my! I tried this back in April and I've been doing it and I've seen major results guys, I highly recommend it when May came around I lost a lot of weight and my belly was almost completely flat. I don't have lemons so I had to use the lemon juice from a lemon juice bottle. It still works regardless I love this! 10/10 results!🤍🤍🤍

Remember this could take up to 12 weeks to see results for belly fat. But just be consistent and don’t skip. Also lower your carbs dramatically and no sugar. If on keto diet you can skip the honey.

FYI: When drinking cinnamon daily, only use Ceylon Cinnamon The non-Ceylon cinnamon has things in it that become toxic when consumed on a daily basis.

@@raymondjr.1080 It didn't work because it can't. There is no magic potion to burn belly fat or lose weight while you sleep. If there was, everyone would be doing it by now. Worse yet you can't lose belly fat by doing sit ups and can't slim your legs down by doing squats. You will only gain muscle mass in these areas which I highly recommend. Honey is calories. Losing fat is done only by being in a caloric deficit and the area you lose it will be in reverse of where you body put it on. In other words, if you began gaining weight around your belly or thighs, that will be the last place you lose it. Sorry, but that's how it works. You can can increase your weight loss by burning more calories. Walking or running are your best options as the leg muscles are the largest in your body and require the most calories to use. If your are morbidly obese walking in a swimming pool is your safest option. A fall while obese can do serious damage.

Because apple cider vinegar is highly acidic, some people experience acid reflux after consuming the drink especially in the evening. I am 59 and I can "not" drink lemon or apple cider vinegar even an hour before laying down. Neither do I drink any citrus in the evening time. I just wanted to help others from getting any discomforting burn at bedtime. Truly wish I could try this, ...thanks for sharing it.

Freshly squeezed lemon actually helps with heartburn. 30 min after cutting that same lemon will cause heartburn. I used it for acid reflux for about a year and it worked really well. It takes about 15 to 20 min work on severe acid reflux. I only stopped using it when I discovered cayenne can work in less than a minute.

Tips: a hand held(very inexpensive) juice squeezer easier on hands(lemons). Organic lemons only have seeds. Soak in clean water over night. Plant! Lemons are acidic but they produce an alkaline level in your gut. So beneficial to cleanse liver and blood. Thanks for the recipe. Gonna add rest of ingredients to my fresh lemon water daily. 66 years and one meal a day(small). Scales refuse to go down. Gonna give a good try with apple cider mothers vinegar and truvia.

So, after reading this, I am wondering, Lisa, if you are eating enough food in a day. If you are not, your metabolism will slow down so much that your body will hold on to fat, because it thinks it needs to, rather than burning the fat. I have seen and used sa calorie calculator. You can find them online. Put in your age, height and some other factors and it will figure out how many calories you need in a day to lose weight, or maintain weight.I think it would be really helpful for you. Just my thoughts...

Thanks for this Sandy. I've just started seriously intermittent fasting. I've dabble with it before but not clean fasted. So far its great I'm 70 and the things I used to do were just not working even weight down (Gwen Shamblin) which previously used to work (only because I couldn't seem to stick to waiting to be hungry) This seems to be so easy even though it is hard to weight till your eating window it makes me feel disciplined. I just go and do something to distract myself so Im getting a lot done. ha ha

Yes, keeping busy is what helps me get through my fasting window too! Yvette, this drink will break your fast. I made this videos way before I started IF. Now I drink this mixture about 20 minutes before my first meal. I get all the benefits still. I leave out the honey and drink green tea if its day time. If I drink this after dinner instead, I can still use the chamomile

So far I understood that fasting is a " mind over matter." Keep yourself busy and fo the things you enjoy. Also adding, drink is a good filler. Best one for me is carrot juicing. I chose carrots for the needed vitamins and by far it's an amazing filler to use. Certainly add more carrot vs water. Works better. In losing weight for me though it's only become hard since after I had cancer and having a bone marrow transplant screwed up my hormones. So I get hot flashes, the works. I hope yo get rid of it. By far for the fasting, the longest I've gone was 11 to 12bhours lol. Normally its 9 to ten hours. It would be trully more effective without my thyroid problems due to my bone marrow autologous transplant. Sucks big time >

Brags also have an apple cider vinegar with lemon juice, honey and ginger added. That’s the one that I buy and I add my own raw honey, cinnamon and a pinch of cayenne pepper powder with 4 tablespoons of the ACV to 12 ounces of water in my water bottle and give it a good shake. It’s so delicious. Tip: drink it with a straw to prevent the acid from damaging your teeth.

Hi, I've tried a few different remedies from other suggestions. Just came across you tonight Sandy, like what I hear. I have DR, you know that big preggers belly, like 22 years after I had my daughter, so I need to lose belly fat and tone up the inside bits. Yes! You don't have to have the tea. It is just a chamomile tea that normally is used to calm the body...but if it raises your BP, you definitely dont need tea. Just use water.

Also use a spoon of lemon zest in the beginning (its packed with nutrients) when the water is hot with the chamomile and cover it with plastic wrap for 15 minutes before adding the lemon juice and the rest of the ingredients.. So the heat will not destroy the vitamins and minerals..

This drink will break your fast!! At the time I made this video, I was not intermittent fasting. It was when I turned 50 and then 51 that I started putting on weight and began IF. Now, I omit the honey and drink this about 15-20 minutes before my first meal of the day. I also use green tea instead of chamomile because it is day time. You could also drink this after your last meal of the day and use the chamomile tea. You will still get all of the benefits, but having it near your eating window instead.

So, I still drink this about 4 days a week, but I drink it before I break my first meal of the day, no honey now, and I use green tea sine it is daytime and I don't want to be sleepy from the chamomile. so it is flexible when you drink this too.

I think I’m going to try not doing the keto because I will do keto for a few weeks and then a get burned out on it so I think I’m going to try and just eat healthy which I’ve been doing for a couple days and I haven’t weighed I know you said in one of your videos to not weigh so much just go by how you feel in your clothes. But I do want to start the Apple cider vinegar concoction lol before bed before bed.. to help burn belly fat. I am turning 59 years old in May and we are raising five of our grandbabies ages 1 1/2 to 8. We have had them for four years January 17. I was staying pretty active with walking for five times a week doing the keto diet and then our lives changed so I have put on a good amount of weight and that is a hindrance when you’re raising five little ones. Because I am no longer walk so when I started keto a couple weeks ago, I thought yes I want to do the intermittent fasting but I was doing it the dirty way I was drinking lemon in my water. I did drop 9 pounds within within five days on keto and then I started the intermittent fasting as well but I want to omit keto. I just really enjoy your videos and your lifestyle. You are definitely my go to thank you so much for sharing. sorry for the long comment.

Hannah have you made this yet? Let us know how your first night goes. Also try home made Ginger Root water,. And Fresh Thyme water.They have videos on Tube how to make, they call em teas. They help lose inches.

Hannah I went through the same and it was very disheartening. I found high impact interval training (HIIT) exercises on KZitem where you work out for only 7 minutes a day, plus light walking. It works, 100% percent and quickly, I noticed a big difference in less than a week. It’s a blessing for women in peri or menopause who are dealing with the belly

@@lisadolan2855 I followed Lucy Windham Read’s 7 mins until I memorized a few routines then just did it on my own. Now I’m doing cupping for cellulite/poor circ on my legs and it totally works. Apparently it works on stomach area too

I use Lemon/Ginger Tea. 1- stevia, 1-tea spoon of apple cider vinegar. Very good.
