in Pennsylvania, I-90 is called the "AMVETS Memorial Highway", is a non-tolled section that extends from the Ohio state line through to New York state going through Erie, Pennsylvania. It is also signed as such in New York. Although this was supposed to be the "Erie Extension" of the Pennsylvania Turnpike, it was actually completed in 1958 with funding from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. When this portion of the highway was open, the speed limit was 50 mph (80 km/h). At 46.4 miles (74.7 km), it is I-90's shortest single-state length.
