Palos Verdes is great as there’s not a ton of tourists but has amazing trails and cliffs overlooking the ocean. Hard to capture on a drive the feeling you get in that area. It always seems to attract clouds that clear up. I usually eat at Chicken Maison an affordable Greek chicken chain. As you said not really a beach town but there are unique spots along the ocean to hang out and just relax.

I’m sorry but I can’t help thinking of GTA V while watching this video and that’s a good thing!! Fun little drive man, thank you!! Just curious- how many hard drives did you bring with you on this trip to store all of this media? It still boggles my mind how much you filmed there. If you were cloned and there are several AKs, it’s ok, you can tell us!!

This is a 30-minute traverse of pristine blacktop highway. Not much indication that the vast Pacific Ocean is nearby, nor a prowl through any of the wealthy residential areas, just the highway.

Just started to watch and excited. When we drove this there was a Starbucks way out and it you went through it to their outside patio it had an awesome view we would have never known about. Wondering if it’s still there. Just amazing. I’d love to hear John’s story but can’t hear it with the wind and him in the backseat.

@@ActionKid near the very point at the top there was. Not the one you passed at the strip mall. I just searched it on the map and it’s still there!!!!! It looked tiny and just a walk in BUT you could walk through it and then there was a HUGE patio with that view. My husband has a small request. Instead of mounting the phone on drives if you could hold it and span left and right we’d see more of the view from the rides. Just a thought. 💜

Consider a 360 camera since you are putting it on the roof of the car. Viewers for this vid could choose to watch Catalina instead of straight ahead down the road.

Great tour, as always. For such a rich community though, it looks a bit sterile. If I were super rich and lived in a place with great weather, Miami is far more beautiful. It's way more tropical, verdant, and lush.
