Great video. Have lived Holywell all my life. Played over the Scouts field. Am old enough to remember the narrow gauge railway - we called it the Puffing Billy. And the steam trains that still ran on the LMS line. Used to play over the Pill Box too. Thanks for sharing.

Not old enough to remember the steam trains! Only the frieght going into Dickinsons. I was at Holywell school between 1970-77, and lived at the end of Vicarage Road. There was a load of young families and the kids all played on the fields or round the back near the river. If particularly adventurous, we'd head down to Sandy Lodge via the farm and Hamper Mill. I thought the landscape was magical!
