Sometimes it's just good to push your focus into a completely different direction than what you're used to. To get those creative juices flowing.

Teach the youngsters the basics! They must not be lazy and learn. This way you also get more, deserved views, sir!

Haha. I like to change things up. Some basics and some advanced stuff. But I agree, if you are not willing to really learn the basics, you might as well stop right away. You'll always gonna use them anyways 💪🏻

@@ItsArnik I dig your style and you are right. We both know that a simple thing like fractal noise can "change the world". Its such a basic thing and "kids" have to learn its power. Esp. since everyone screams PROCEDURAL these days...if they want to see something procedural they can have a look at my wifes rear...

Hi Arnik. Can you make a video on how to improve a whiteboard video with After Effects? (on a mp4 video after something like VideoScribe or Doodly outputs the video) Do you have ideas to make it more visually interesting and engaging (like adding movement or effects when the image is static?) Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out and your suggestion! Adding movement to an already exported video is a hidious task, I have to tell you. Because everything on the screen is one single layer. Normally I would suggest to work with the puppet tool, but as everything is considered one element you would need a huge amount of pins to make it work, and that takes a lot of time and processing power. Is there any chance you get add movement to the elements before they are merged into one file?

It's Arnik! Hmmmm. Maybe since all the elements in VideoScribe are SVGs, they could be layered on top of the mp4 and the drawn image below it whited out. (Whiteout having to do the drawn masking technique I see to fake a whiteboard effect in After Effects)

be nice to do like a character mesh crying effect maybe that effect could come in handy probly would need maya or houdini to achieve it though realistically but would like to see if it would come close in After effects, and not crying blood or something thats easy, but water

Well that's a rather specific one 😅 Haven't thought of that before. So you mean proper river-like crying, or more like a few tears rolling down 🤔
