The sophistication and maturity of her compositions are extraordinary. Then, despite the complexity of the chord changes, she's able to fully inhabit the lyrics and tell the story in a way you wouldn't have understood it if she hadn't sung it the way she did. She's a marvel!

One of the most beautiful songs ever. Madie is awesome, and Chris's harmonies were spectacular .

I’m not sure why she isn’t bigger than she is. Her music speaks to my soul.

Madison's sound is maturing into something else altogether-amazing! The subtlety of all the other players here is excellent. Hauntingly beautiful!

This girl is such a great discovery for me. What a talent. What depth. A new big fan over here in South Africa.

I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. This gave me Radiohead and Bonnie Rait vibes. She’s really her own thing. Nothing like her.

I stumbled upon Madison from a KZitem recommendation. I’m so glad I did. I love her voice and her sound. It’s so different. I just ordered her new cd from her site. I could listen to her all day. Thank you, Madison. Thanks, YT.

I want a Fender Jazzmaster. They just have such a great warm and liquid tone when finger plucked, yet can bite like a snake when ground into a little. She plays it nicely.

And she certainly makes nice use of the behind-the-bridge string span.

...still, I'm confident this song wouldn't be missing much even if she played on any other guitar.

So your heart is inside out All your friends have let you down Love slipped out the door without a sound With every new promise there lies a deeper doubt You think you see it coming but it turns before it can find you You stare at what you want for so long it’s starting to blind you Dark as night and dry as sand The meaning filters right through your hands Silence is your dearest friend With every new beginning there comes a faster end You think you see it coming but it turns before it can find you You stare at what you want for so long it’s starting to blind you I can’t tell you what you’re fighting for I can only tell you what I see I wish that I could say it well, like it felt To watch the evening fall on your face Your beautiful face Time and sorrow burn the fuse You patch the hole with water and it seeps right through What on earth has been holding you This time around you just needed proof

Madisons songs are great but to me seem elevated when played with the LFH band. Turns a bit magic.

This is such a good song, with the LFH band, and then Joey D adds background vocabs....
