Look like no mor bike frame simple to construct like Le block . Crab shell aluminium con struction . I like it.

Yes a very clever design that helps keep the bikes weight low 👍😎

It didn't take much to go from an engine to what looks like a near assembled bike. Jeez, what size are those Termi headers?! Keep them covered or the badgers will be moving in. Another great series Adam 👏 Keep them coming.

Its surprising isn't it, I think that the engine change process Ducati put together was very smart in keeping most components as one whilst disassembling and reassembling the bike so making it a quick process. The headers are 70mm, I think the same size as the termi system I have on the 1098, will have to check later. Thanks for watching, more is to come :)

Thank you for the time and effort that you’ve put into these videos! My dream was to swap my 1199 engine for a 1299. But, they are hard to come by and I found an 1199R engine for a good deal so I’m studying your videos to help prep myself for this exact swap. I have a question about the swing arm. Do I have to swap over the swing-arm internals from an R to get it to fit? Or could I get by with just my “S” swing-arm? Thank you.

Fantastic Videos! Very informative. Any insight on race geometry set up? Ride height, swing arm angle, rake, etc...

Not for the Panigale at the moment, but when I can get some decent track time I will put together a series of videos to talk through set up. 👍

Great work. Perhaps some detail on why you’re wanting the adjustable swingarm pivot from the R bike. What was the existing swingarm angle? I presume you’re wanting to lower the pivot some to reduce antisquat? Looking forward to the next one!

The aim is to try and optimise the setting although I have heard that in blind test everyone preferred the -4 setting so it may be a one trick pony. I will play with it once its back on track to see what feels best

@@DesmoWerx i have just done a similar modification to a 1199 and matched it to the head bearing kit from the R model, handles like a dream

I was wondering, where did you find the torque requirements for the swingarm & rear shock? Unfortunately I’m having to replace my swingarm due to being cracked. Thanks!

Nice piece of work, the long swingarm is a good addition to a high power 916/996/998 they add 20mm to the chassis length. That is why the 749/999 was so much better on track, much more stable.

DesmoWerx Shame those long Corse arms are so costly. Maybe one day I’ll come across a deal. As of now I’ve got the stock arm maxed to approximately 490mm.

@@robevans3980 Its amazing how often I find riders running the hub at the top front and complaining the bike is terrible, it really messes up the handling.
