What size tkc is on the front wheel? I can only find a 120 90, not the 110 80 that is stock?

At least in Europe, there is. Check out for REAR tire (Conti Part-No. 0200019). Fits to front wheel too ;-)

How did you manage to adjust the angle of the footpeg on the right side? When just installed in place of the OEM it has an uncomfortable negative back angle.

I take it your collarbone is fine now and your ribs don't hurt. I've had these injuries and they hurt. Once a flat twin Boxer engine went through my rib cage. I have a question as I am interested in purchasing a Scrambler: has your Ducati been reliable, please?
@Preuling

That must have been a pain... My Ribs are fine, collarbone still wobbles around and will be fixed in January. I use my Scrambler occasionally as a funbike and it's fine. The other Scrambler-owners that I know did not have breakdowns or so. In this forum you may find some posts about that issue: www.ducatiscramblerforum.com

Thanks. I have already been on this forum which is why I asked about yours. I suppose people who have no problems with their Scrambler don't post about problems on forums.

That's right. At this model, Ducati did not choose the latest, but proven technology. And in relation to the high sales figures there is really few owners who complain. Some use the Scrambler as an adventure bike, like Alicia Sornosa (kzitem.info/news/bejne/woF_t2mEZoVkmYY), for example.

Just watched it despite my Spanish being minimal. The bikes are clearly very competent, but you'd think the tank was too small for such expeditions. She must love it. Nice looking chick, too.

What do you think about putting a 120/70-18 on an icon for the front wheel. I have mag wheels ... I’m wanting to use the Pirelli Scorpion Rally Str found on the desert sled on my icon ? What do you think? They make the 120/70 18 in the str ... thanks for any suggestions!!

should fit technically to the wheel and may behave better on street than the tkc80 (from what I heard so far). Depending on region no longer street legal...

Sierra Creative : I replaced the Scorpions first day with the tkc80s . I went to an offroad trip right away and did not want to get stuck in the sand.

Are you happy with the Garmin, and if so, which one is it? Btw., next time you should take out a Gold Wing for X-country and do some jumps also.

Ouwkackemann: zumo 340. Display is quite visible and you can leave your gloves on. I connected it with Sena headset for listening and being able to use mobile phone or intercom. Planning trips via garmin software basecamp is a pain though.

No problem at all with rear tire on front wheel..? Stable on cornering? Cause iam thinking to do the same on my triumph Bonneville t120 2017, cause my front wheel size is 18 also.
@Preuling

Everything fine, keeping in mind that it is not a typical road tire anymore. My concern was less for cornering rather than it's straight-running ability/precision. Ok though.

Right. They should have mentioned that tube tires are for spoke wheels (which is somewhat obvious).

What tire pressures are you running on the TKC 80s? Thanks!
@Preuling
7 жыл бұрын
As a compromise between grip and road accuracy I run with 1,9bar (27,56 psi). As the rims have no tire-locks I wouldn't go below 1,5 bar (21,76 psi)

Hi can we use this on scrambler icon front alloys 180/80 R.18 (TKC 80) as it shows tube type tire
@Preuling
7 жыл бұрын
Hi Shabaz, The Icon has aluminium die cast wheels which officially do not match with Tube Type Tires. But there are quite some people who did this on other bikes (at one’s own risk of course). If you want to try (for any purpose off the street…): Mount the TKC 80 with rim strip/tape (and tube of course). During assembly you may get an air-cussion between tube and tire (because the tire may seal in the same time to the rim). This air cushion could cause friction between tube and tire (and this induces heat) but should disappear with time. And thus cause loss of pressure. Therefore check tire pressure every day after assembly to see if everything is fine.

hi , preuling how do you find the front suspension with the andreani's , are they softer sprung than your original forks or harder , i have also just ordered the wilbers 630 same as yours , ta jules uk

When I unpacked the andreani they appeared to me quite soft and I was a bit concerned. When installed it is ok for me. By adjusting the spring preload you should find appropriate level.
