Once I started a framing carpentry business at 23 a month ago, I can’t focus on TV shows, movies, the only thing I can focus on is my business. Eric and Keith are the only videos I can watch that I don’t lose focus and start thinking about business problems and possibilities with. These boys are top shelf.

Thank you. I'm sitting here at 8:40am I didn't get home until 11pm from mowing. I've got my 1st small roofing job that I should've been on 40 minutes ago and a chain link fence job as well. I can barely move. I needed some motivation. Great story and a reminder of why I go so hard. This is my 2nd year out on my own and I'm at that pivotal point where I gotta get some employees and work smarter.

Best friend in my area did the same , he ran a roofing biz and I own a body shop. He was rockin and rollin for about 15 years , the IRS came down on him about 3 years ago and it wasnt good. I begged him for years to do what needed to be done when it comes to taxes, he didn't. He passed away from a heart attack last year at the age of 40, no doubt from the stress of losing his lifestyle. Keep ya head on straight my man, happy happy happy to see a young cat do his thing but dont screw up to get there fast , you've built it, now keep it prosperous. Much love

Anyone else more interested in the angies list scam going on here? Why would you need to pay a site that has reviews from "customers" on contractors and tradesman that worked for them? Seems a little unnecessary to pay the site any amount of money. Leads me to believe that even if you do poor quality work, but you pay angies lost $2800 a month, they're going to promote your company and the product you put out.

Owens corning sure nail shingles are best shingle you can lay on a house. I live in Michigan where weather shits on us throughout the year. Snow one day, 70°F. The next. The sure nail strip is incredie. 130 mph. + wind resistance. The only thing we (integrity roofing) use. We ridge vent every peak, reflash everything, use sythentic felt and run ice and water shield at least 34" past the exterior walls to prevent ice dams. With a 10 year workmanship warranty, we only use the best. OC sure nail shingles or commercial grade standing seam steel roofing only. We quit advertising years ago and still can't keep up. We have to Turn jobs down, or schedule them for the following year. Even though we have expanded, we still can't keep up. We don't pay for advertising. It's all word of mouth. All integrity. People tell us to just put them on the schedule without needing a quote because they know how busy we are, and our reputation is more than enough for them. We go above and beyond what home owners expect. And after they have the best looking roof on the block, their yard and landscaping looks better than what it did when we showed up. That's Integrity roofing.

This is a great video. I remember when I was under the table and paying under the table to my employees. Bite the bullet for sure. I’m going through more growing pains at the moment in business. I’m about to try and buy another new concrete boom pump. Unfortunately my business is not the type of business you would advertise on “Angie’s List” you really have to put in your time in my business and meet people through straight up work on the field and have the opportunity to work with bigger contractors. One big contractor grows into a bigger project and so on and so forth. I also grow with my contractors. As they grow and progress they bring me into their projects and we grow together. Great video man seriously. No hate here what so ever. Everything you have said is real. I’m not EVEN CLOSE to those numbers but my labor overhead is nothing close to roofing. My business is small 1 employee and myself operating machines and I did $230k last year this year I’m on track for $350k. I have a buddy in the same business as me that has 3 employees plus he runs a machine too and he grossed $1.2m last year. Keep it up man.
