You ever consider that maybe people who thumbs down the content, are giving a thumbs down to the subject of drugs themselves. I lost family and friends to opiates. Had to unsuccessfully attmpt to resuscitate a friend that overdosed, and died. Dealers like this guy, have sold drugs that have ruined lives, ruined families, and killed people, especially kids. Regardless if the message is positive, this man got lucky. Most people don't. Some people probably take offense to that idea. Or, maybe people expected to hear "badass" stories about dealing drugs. It's glorified in rap culture, especially to young, curious, impressionable kids. Btw: I liked the video. Just giving a different perspective.

Right now my son is at a place called the dream center in los Angeles. He has been on one thing or another since he was 14. I tried everything, but he would pick the streets and drugs and drinking every time over help. He has lived on the streets, over dosed 4 times, jumped off of a building and survived, he was left for dead in someones car, he asperated and was revived, someone punched him so hard and broke his jaw, his mouth was wired shut for almost 3 months. His jaw and side of his face have so much titanium in them, and so much more all before his 19th birthday. It doesnt matter what color, or size, or sex or any of that. Some times even with a good upbringing addiction and evil is out there. He has been at the center for 7 months now and has been without alcohol and drugs. I dont know how he is even alive today, but God has bigger plans for him. I'am so proud of him. He is my angel. There is nothing in this life that I love more than my son. Thank God for you and these places that take these kids in and teach them that there is a better way. Much love and respect to you, Keep doing what your doing. He lost 3 friends in 5 years to drugs and alcohol, My mom, he loved so much and was very close to died last july, and my 2 brothers the year before. Its been the hardest years for all of us. Oil fields the Jews had deals with the Saudi Arabia’s prince and he declined and started the regime of the country falling man the gas prices in the United States hit to 25$ a gallon man he was the first to go to the war not shoot tho man he knew what they where doing it’s all capitalism man gold oil drugs man that’s what started the war the 911 was about the us stealing the oil from the prince man and he send the Taliban to attack the world trade center to stop the money from transferring the oil to dollars currency man the sad thing is my cousin knew we weren’t going to take the Middle East because no one got thousands of years never conquered it man because they been at war since Mesopotamia man.

I had a similar upbringing but flipped my mother was a pimp.....she had bitches that worked for her so had a lot of mother figures BUT all shitty ones.... got pregnant at 15 married at 17 to the best thing that happened to me, his mother was a hoe....used to leave him and his 4 baby brothers for weeks on end to go to the Indian reservation to make money and gamble it away.....,but we ran far away from our bullshit and still with him today 5 kids later.... We been in Hawaii since we was 18 and never left We are proud parents of a 2 Marines(twins), Coast Guard, EMT and our youngest a freshman in high school. They will never know the struggle BUT this generation is hella soft.. it’s our fault cause we wanted to give them EVERYTHING we didn’t have a more... Out of all the stories brotha yours is my favorite Carlos, you’re making a new name for yourself no matter what. Takes a real man to admit he had failures (lessons) but decided to make changes even though it took a while. No matter if you fall on hard times don’t give up. Remember the inspiration and lessons you give those kids, remember the role model they see in you, remember the huge change you’ve made. It’s easy to fall back into old ways but it’s harder in the long run. You’re saving lives by doing the work you are. May you be protected and safe while following your higher powers plan. Whether you drink or not the first soda or beer is on me if we ever cross paths.

Mom taught 1 of his kids. I helped out at the school and saw him around a bit. Wasn't til about a year later I brought leftover food from a homeless feeding thing I help out with to a park that takes the homeless to heading home. I talked to him for a bit and I have to say he's a really nice, friendly, quiet person. I asked my mom a bit more about him and she said him and his Ex would come in to the kindergarten class and they would play hide and seek with the kids. Cool dude glad he's sharing his story!

I judge people by how they look all the time and 95% of the time I'm correct. The other 5% I'm really close to being correct. Why you asking for handouts? Be the change you want to see. Been helping my community since the age of 12, especially by cleaning up trash from streets. YOU BETTER NOT BE LITTERING!

My mother is a pediatric nurse at the unm hospital for well over 20 years. They give their hearts and souls and ask for nothing in return from the people of the city. Maybe a story about those men and women and what they do at that hospital would be amazing. 20 years of Albuquerque anything can be tough I’d imagine. Those people their are the strongest most loving you will ever meet in your life.
