I know it's a story, but it's one that carries a beautiful meaning and it should be taught in schools over Shakespeare for the millionth time. At least in his final moments he was truly happy and surrounded by those that loved him, rest in peace Don Quixote, a noble knight that was born too late to have the life of Knights and Chivalry

I saw the original cast and play of Man of the Mancha on Broadway in '68 with my other siblings, balling my head off at the tender age of five. My Dad turned to my mother and Grandmother Alice (his Mom), "Is it ok for the children to feel such strong emotions so young?" They just glared at him...Lol..Great Memories! Keeps me coming back. Thank you KZitem and all who upload such treasures! Great memories in a period of much sorrow and destruction as the Vietnam War played out at full tilt...this was a gem of hope for a better future beyond war and hatred.

Dear Ruth charging, I am an old man or 70+ years yet I would be your champion because I believe in the honor of Don Quijote . But you dear Ruth must not allow this victimizer to have any place in your mind or your heart or soul what he did to you was evil and you my dear girl must become the champion and the heroine of your own life story. No one man or woman should subjugate you ridicule you or diminish you in your life experience and if they do so they are not worthy of knowing your dear Ruth! Be strong fulfill your life journey and live in joy bless you, with love Steve

"In my house there will be courtesy!" How ever could I forget that line? Rather, I will bury Cervantes. He who never wrote the line is unforgiven of he delivered it never wrote it. There is a world outside the self that is elaborately glad to have got there.

If that is Peter O'Toole singing like others have said then he definitely wasn't the original dumbledore shame on you it was the amazing Richard Harris that did dumbledore first and he was perfect it was so sad he fell ill and died so he didn't get to do all the film's , Michael Gambon was an ok replacement but not as good as sir Richard Harris
@OreadNYC

Richard Harris, not Peter O'Toole, was the original Dumbledore. It's an easy mistake to make since they had a similar look about them and also had some similarities in the way they presented themselves while in character.
