Have you thought about just taking the other two branches. I think the space would look fine without the allualdia and you could cover the stump with some other succulents. That way you have a couple to work with in case something should happen to one. What a scary time but also so much excitement and adventure. Thank you for taking us along with you and can’t wait to see what you create. Love you and your team!

You know, I have a beloved coffee tree, I've had it for years. When I moved from Philly to Houston several years ago during the winter. I legit rented an SUV and drove nearly 22 hours straight so that I could transport the plant. We do wild things for the plants we love!

People always tell me, "you're stronger than you think, or, you're one of the strongest women I know, but I never want to hear that, because I don't feel that way. But now, watching you the past few weeks and all you have to endure with the move, I really see what people see in me, because it is what I see in you, Laura. Whether you feel it or not...You are stronger than you think, and you are one of the strongest women I know. I love watching your new adventures and wish you and Greg a million years of health, happiness and gardening in that beautiful Vista!!!!!!

Dear Laura, wishing you, Greg, Hannah & team well in your move. We moved 358 miles from our Mira Mesa home, to our beautiful retirement home in Peoria Arizona. My Odyssey minivan made 2 full trips with my big fully planted Costco pots of succulents. The shock and the heat here took their toll. It's OK, we tried. Wishing you so much luck with your move. And look forward to your creating your new yard.

Laura, is it possible to bandage the top what broke off on top again? It might knit together?
@nicogs97
2 жыл бұрын
Can't you just attach the piece that came off with rubber bands like they do with grafting? I'm pretty sure that will solve the problem. I hope you didn't toss the piece away. If it already started to callous over just cut them again and graft them together. You might want to watch some KZitem videos first or have a grafting expert do it for you.

If you look at the small, green and round allaudia leaves, compared to portulacaria afra leaves, you may notice a similarity - bc allaudia is a portulacaria 👍🏽😂I figured since P. afra is nicknamed "elephant food," and is eaten by humans and other animals, we should have allaudia be nicknamed "Lemur lunch" or "lemur ladder" 🙃🤤 Its amazing how they climb all up and down them. Mainly the "walking" sifaka lemurs. Somehow their little hands know exactly how to fit between the thorns. Geckos and chameleons hide out on them as well, to escape eagles, snakes and poachers.
