It's kind of sad that we both find charity shops to be a great source of finds, i meen people give the items to them to sell on for the charity but the reality 90% of the time is the charity shop just pays the actuall charity a yearly fee to use their name and charity number, it's exactly the same with the "so called" charity clothing bins/skips, the reality is somone pays for the keys to that bin on a monthly basis, i meet a lot of them emptying them during my nightime megamooches, in the area i visit (N London) the keys are rented by a polish bloke (nice bloke as it happens) he exports the decent stuff like Ts and jeans and the rest he sells for scrap, scrap cloth by the way sells for around 5 TIMES what light iron sells for at the Mo. I'm editing a vid for this weekend, i'll give you a mantion and show what i picked up from a local "charity shop" bin ;) dont get all excited i have a way smaller viewer base than you but it'll be a sort of on camera reply on the subject ;) keep it up chap :)

I know right? Kinda makes me feel sick. It seems as if the charity shops like to lock the bins. Makes me wonder if they only do it to stop people seeing what they throw away. I have taken cloths to be scrapped but they took out the bad stuff like torn jeans and only take the resalable stuff. Those cloths end up in northern Africa where it has wiped out the cotton industry and caused nothing but poverty. I subbed to your channel look forward to the video 👍

I never donate to charity shops for this very reason. I resell anything of value plus carboot and everything else thats left gets sorted for recycling. Nice haul there x

I pretty sure some CS lock the bins just so people can't find out what they throw away. It's crazy. When I get a garage or unit I will take more to seel at bootsales 👍
