He doesn't hate dialogue. In the full context, he says he prefers to let the image and sound do the showing, and that dialogue should be the last resort. I agree with this philosophy, because filmmakers who can communicate mostly audiovisually are masters at their craft and can actually demonstrate the ethos of "show, not tell". And if you watch his films, the dialogues are very good.

How can he be "1000% (sic) wrong" when it comes to his own personal opinion? State merely that you disagree with him and leave it at that.
