Second part of the short documentary about Varg Vikernes. This part isn't soley about Vikernes, its more about church burning. Anyhow, youll see it yourself.

Antifa Romania: Actiunea Anti-Fascista fascism has spread so baldy in europe its mind boggling. In general hate is very en vogue today. Its cool to hate christians, muslims and jews. It’s cool to beat down immigrants, and immigrants think its ok to commit atrocities because they suffered. It’s almost comical if not so sad. We have to stop to hate. We have to stop to be so self centered. Me me and me. That’s all we understand.

Guess what, there ARE anti-Islam black metal bands in the middle east, very few people know about them though, they are small, underground, very obscure bands hidden from the mainstream. And from what I've heard, they do write about Jihad against Islam in their lyrics. I don't think they're going to burn down any mosques though, considering they're living in strictly religious countries with insane amounts of oppression. Just the fact that they are able to make black metal there is crazy IMO.

Churches were built over the top of sacred pyramids in Mexico. The biggest of all pyramids in latin america is located in Puebla, "La pirámide de Cholula", it is so shameful to watch the church at a distance and see that we could have a monument of our root culture instead of a symbol for colonialism... That is a shame.

Churches and mosques have been built over a lot of holy grounds all over the world. Go figure, the two abrahamic religions spread like wildfire the world over when humanity was weak, and tried to erase all existence of pagan cultures through colonization, mass genocide, destruction of places of worship and erection of their own places of worship. This 'cultural genocide' as I see it, is happening in my country at present. One particular issue that seems to trigger people here is the demolition of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya. The story goes that a mosque was built on holy grounds during the period when India was being invaded and ruled by the Mughals. It was recently demolished as we are trying to reclaim what we have lost. People have very conflicting and polarizing opinions on this, but deep down a lot of us know the truth and will continue to fight until we have reclaimed our spiritual heritage. Varg knew the truth about how his culture was erased, hence took measures into his own hands when the system had clearly failed, and was jailed for 21 years. He took one for the team.

I would argue that Norwegian expansion into England, Scotland, Normandy, and Ireland, is the reason we're all speaking English in our comments here. Norway wasn't some backwater prior to Christanity, it was the dominant military power in Northern Europe for quite some time. Hell, Norwegians settling in Iceland started the worlds oldest democracy (which still functions today) prior to Christianity being introduced.

What if the government banned a very special and memorable tradition in YOUR religion? For example, lets say you're jewish. What if the government banned the holiday of Hanukkah, or Yom Kippur, or any of the other many jewish holidays, with your religion unable to do or say anything about it. I bet you would be pretty pissed! That's exactly how Varg felt. All holidays are in memory of past traditions, therefore anyone who celebrates holidays are "living in the past."
