What is the Dunning-Kruger Effect? This effect occurs when a person's lack of knowledge and skill in a particular area causes them to overestimate their own competence. This type of effect can introduce biases to your investigations. That is why investing in a root cause system that helps remove our biases to get to the real root cause of an investigation is essential.
