No it's not. Language can't taste like anything. Stop appeasing these clowns..The delicacy food of theirs is a humble casual breakfast that middle class eats in North India. Nothing unique. All bengholi dishes are copies of some other cultures and communities. They have no authentic dishes nor innovation to have invented anything. How and what do these clowns even take pride in is mindboggling to me.😂. What a complete waste of Oxygen these people are. These clowns have Nothing unique or admirable in their smelly culture except their easy catch, use and throw , l00se women.

Kunal, thanq for coming to our city. Yes Durga pujo( emphasis on 'O') is the time to be here. Festivities are in the air. The city doesn't sleep. Pandal hopping is 100x than what Kunal attempted😊. Artistry at its best. Who celebrates those uncelebrated creators of these wonderful mandaps. Drummers(dhaakis) leave their villages and come to cities to play. Hopefully these people return with some money for the rest of the year. And finally food n food everywhere. Happy durgapujo.

I love the rendition of Satyajit Ray's song "Kotoi Ranga Dekhi Duniay" (I indeed get to see such varied colors in this World) from his Dystopian comedy "Hirak Rajar Deshe"; played so soulfully on a baul's ektara and juxtaposed with the fervent drum beats of the dhakis while you go Pandal hopping like most Bengalis filled with joy and hope.

The Durga Puja or Durgotsab in Eastern India & the Ganapati Utsab in Western India was made ''sarvajanin'' simultaneously & instilled into the popular local culture by 3 Historical personalities. Lady Abola Bose ( Wife of Acharya J.C.Bose ), Sister Nivedita ( Irish disciple of Swami Vivekananda ) & Lokmanya Tilak. They together had lengthy discussions on instilling National pride & a sense of unity into & among Indian population by evoking Ma Durga's fearsome ''Rann Chandi'' roop & Sri Ganesh's steadfast Mental balance roop. Finally they decided to introduce & encourage the sarvjanin puja to achieve it !
